News & Events John Cracknell Youth Enterprise Bank Appoints Hull Comedian & Actress Lucy Beaumont Honorary Vice President
The JCYEB supports young entrepreneurs as well as supporting enterprise education activities in Hull, East Riding and Ryedale. Lucy said "I think it’s amazing what the John Cracknell Youth Enterprise Bank does and I am looking forward to working with them to support young people in Hull my home City, particularly in the arts.“ JCYEB Chair, Ron Dickinson, said “We are delighted that Lucy is to become our latest Honorary Vice President, she brings a whole new dimension to our work as we look to support more young people realise their business dreams in the world of the arts. We are extremely lucky to have her support.”
Employment Hub Appoints Scott Moore as the New Young Person’s Champion
#ChooseToChallenge We celebrated International Women’s Day by promoting young female entrepreneurs such as Becca Pettman of Grays Boutiques, Katie Norman of Labrascals, Millie Notarantonio of Millie Rose, Lucy Musgrave of Pure Delicious, Leah of Amethyst Cleaning, Beth Shepherdson of Rose's Closet, Bethany Cook of the Cook Collective, Doozie do Dyes, Emily Campbell of Hair By Emily, Charlene Genter of Resin Randoms, and young entrepreneurs of the year 2021 Nicole and Alex of Blush Cleaning.
Scott said of his appointment “Young people have been especially affected by the economic crisis caused by Covid-19. I look forward to working to improve the lives of young people in Hull.” Hull City Council’s Employment Hub supports people of all ages to gain employment, training, education and volunteering experience. They offer help with confidence building, job searching, CVs and cover letters, interviews and much more. Scott Moore will help focus on how the Hub provides top notch support to 16-24 year olds in the city.
