McAdams provides a number of support services for transmission and distribution projects. Our typical scope of work includes:
› New Line Design, including:
– Field Surveying Services
– Erosion Control Design + Permitting
– Stream Restoration Engineering Services to Protect Existing Transmission Line Structures from Erosion
› Siting + Routing Selection, including:
– Plan + Profile Surveys (using PLSCADD)
– Right-of-Way Acquisition Surveys
› Right-of-Way Services: Similar to siting and routing selection, McAdams has significant experience creating right-of-way exhibits that consist of a metes and bounds description and graphic exhibits to be included in recordable documents for use in right-of-way acquisition in support of new transmission and distribution lines.
