Extended Stay Hotels Once upon a time there was a young boy who wanted to run away from home. You see, his family was not the nicest type of family, in fact, they made Matilda’s family look pretty amazing. So this boy wanted to get out. There was no easy adoption option available, so he knew that he would need to work very hard to earn the money he would need to get out of his home. He was not sure where he could move anyway, since he had school and work to take care of, so this young boy was quite stressed out. He went to his work every evening after school and worked cleaning bed pans at a hospital for several hours. This was not the best kind of job, but the pay wasn’t awful, and he knew that within a matter of time he would be able to find an escape from the terrors of his life, and he would be able to find happiness in the pursuit of his dreams.
Doing the Work After cleaning about a million bed pans, this young fellow felt that he may finally have enough money to move away from home, so he began the search for a place to live away from home. He looked at rental homes and they were too large and expensive. He looked at apartments, but the contracts were for much too long, and so he was not sure what he needed to do. This young boy went home that night after work, and sat on his bed and cried. Luckily, his parents were already asleep, so they were not available to ridicule him for his tears. He could not sleep that night, his desire to move away from home was great, and his resources were sufficient, but he could not find a place. AT almost dawn he finally fell asleep as his tears gave way to dreamings, and he drifted off. The next morning at school he was sitting in the back of his classroom when he heard a teacher talking about an Albuquerque hotel that allowed for extended stays. This was the answer, he exclaimed! (silently, to himself). And that very moment he began to solidify his plans to stay at the hotel. He composed a letter to his parents expressing his displeasure with them, and letting them know that he would not be coming home. He left out the specific details of his bed pan washing job and the Albuquerque hotel, but otherwise, he was honest and open about his desire to leave. And that night after work, he went home and packed his bags.
Moving In By late that evening, he was moved in to his new home. This extended stay at the hotel would help him to make a life for himself before he could move away to college. Eventually he graduated from high school and moved far, far away. But in the meantime, this stay at a hotel was what saved him from his terrible life at home. He maintained his job at the hospital and was promoted. Eventually he finished his many years of medical school and became an amazing doctor of some fame and recognition. His family never heard from him again.
