Jennifer and Richard Bates, Resident Full Golf. Jennifer is the Area Vice-

President of National Sales for US Foods. Richard owns Black Dog Sales and Marketing (Building Supplies Company). Other interests: Outside of golf which is their main hobby, they enjoy anything outdoors….including biking and hiking. They also enjoy spending time on the South Carolina Coast. We would like to thank Brian and Meredith Gilbertson and Joe and Aileen Farrell for introducing us to CCA. William Bulfer and Melissa Martínez Godley, Sport. Bill is a partner with Teague Campbell. Melissa is a Clinical Research Associate with IQVIA. They have 6 children; sons; Grayson Godley 17, Gavin Godley 15, Graham Godley 13, daughter Delaney Bulfer 13, twins Mackenzie (female) and Daniel (male) Bulfer 11. They enjoy running, hiking, hockey, and soccer, and look forward to enjoying the amenities of the club, networking and meeting new friends.

Grant and Amanda Byerly, Junior Executive. Grant is the owner of AVL Electronics, the United States textile industry's leading OEM

alternative repair service. Amanda works as a freelance entertainment and pop culture news writer. They were married in 2012 and share two daughters, Nola (3) and Elin (4 months). In their spare time Grant enjoys playing golf and Amanda likes to read. They attend Lake Hills Church. They look forward to enjoying all of the amenities CCA has to offer and are excited to meet and socialize with the members.

Anders and Terry Carlson, Resident Full Golf. Anders is a retired builder. Terry is a retired designer. Past members of OKC and Reems Creek Golf Club. Robert Corlett and Lucy Yeo, Junior Executive. Robert is a Engineering Manager with Cvent, Inc. (software engineer/event technology

). Lucy is a Sports Medicine Acupuncturist. They have a five-month old, daughter, Ellery. They are new to Asheville and looking forward to meeting more people in their community. They are originally from Portland, OR and came to Asheville by way of Rhode Island. They miss being so close to the ocean but are excited to explore the mountains and rivers of Western North Carolina. Chris and Kelly Dunbar, Corporate Golf. Chris is the CEO of Blue Ridge Power. Kelly works for Buncombe County Schools teaching high school history at Owen High. I am from Dallas, TX and have been in Asheville for 3 years, currently residing in South Asheville. I have a twin sister in Florida and my dad and stepmother in Charlotte. I do not have many personal connections and family isn't nearby so I am looking forward to meeting other club members. I am currently a student in school to be a Child Life Specialist as well as a childcare provider. I have worked with children and infants for over 10 years. Children and animals are my passion. I am almost finished with my certification to become a Newborn Care Specialist. One day I would love to have children and a family of my own. I am very involved in the Asheville community, volunteering at several animal shelters and the Make a Wish Foundation. I am also very spiritual and involved in my church’s activities. I have two tabby kittens, Dobby and Luna, and I am getting ready to foster more! My interests include cooking, gardening, flower arranging, interacting with children and animals, decorating, art, traveling, outdoor activities, Halloween festivities, music and TV/film. During my membership I am looking forward to meeting other families to socialize with, discovering all of the amenities the club has to offer, trying the delicious restaurants and enjoying the pool when it reopens next summer! I may even try my hand at tennis! My charity passions: Asheville Humane Society, Esther Neonatal Kitten Alliance, Make a Wish Foundation and Four Seasons Hospice. Joseph and Joann Little, Resident Full Golf. Joseph is the Owner of Bernie Little Distributors, Inc. Joann is a realtor. They have four grown children and look forward to enjoying golf, tennis, dining and meeting new friends at the club. Other interests include travel, fishing, hunting and shopping. year anniversary living in Asheville this March 2022. Barry is a retired healthcare professional, Robin works part-time for PAGE College Pathways in Madison County and is a College Admissions Counselor. They have five adult children, two daughters and three sons that live in various parts of the world. Both Robin and Barry look forward to enjoying the amenities of the club, including golf, tennis, and social events. Their other interests include travel, hiking, Audi club, scuba diving, fishing, vinyl, puzzles, cooking, dining, and reading. Barry is the past President of The Views, Reynolds Mountain Homeowners Association, and was involved with Take Stock in Children and mentoring with the University of Miami Business School. His current community/charity passions include working with SCORE and Venture Asheville through the Chamber of Commerce. We would like to thank Chuck Riner and Bob Shields for their sponsorship.

Oscar and Noryn Suarez, Part-Time Resident. Oscar is a CPA, recently retired Partner, Ernst &

Young. Noryn is a retired Realtor. They have three grown children; daughter Nataly, and sons Max, Javier and five grandchildren. Current members of Riviera Country Club, Coral Gables, Florida since 1995, they enjoy their club and look forward to being members at CCA. Martin and Jessi White, Junior Executive Golf. Martin is the CFO for Blue Ridge Power, LLC. Jessi is the Director of Administration for YB Technologies and stays busy with their two children, daughter Alexis 5, and son Blake 2. Jessi was on The Symetra Tour and played at the club in 2014-15 while on tour. They look forward to all the amenities of the club and meeting new friends. A Note from Your Membership Director, Deborah Ponder

WOW, what a year! CCA has experienced a historical year for new memberships with 136 new members joining so far. It has been 16 years since we have had a notable net growth. October we will come in at 99 net new members. Member enthusiasm is off the charts. I consistently hear from our newest members how gracious and welcoming CCA members and staff are. As always a big thank you to our valued members for your continued support. Please let me know of any friends, neighbors or co-workers that you would like for me to reach out to regarding membership.
