Dear Members, I am excited to send you this letter as I am well underway in my current role as your new General Manager at Providence Country Club. My transition over the past month could not have been any smoother. I have had the pleasure of meeting several members (and their families) in addition to the talented team of directors and dedicated employees at PCC that supports them. I can’t thank all of you enough for providing such a welcoming atmosphere. I hope all of you were able to enjoy some time with family and loved ones over this past holiday season. I know the Club provided that opportunity for quite a few of you as we enjoyed a busy season with family events such as: Thanksgiving and Santa’s Brunches, Holiday Sweater Party, Gingerbread Decorating Party and New Year’s Eve Dinner. Now it’s time to start anew in ‘22! After meeting with the various department heads across the property, I can tell you that there is a shared sense of excitement about what the future holds at PCC. The past two years have been challenging at best, but we continue to see more and more light at the end of the tunnel. From Golf to Tennis, the Clubhouse to the Pool, our team is committed to going above and beyond for the membership.

With that being said, my top priority for 2022 and beyond) is to “enhance the member experience.( ” While my focus will initially begin within the Clubhouse, my attention will certainly not end there. These enhancements will include, but are not limited to: asset improvements, new standards, consistency, service training, types and number of events, menu variety and upgraded equipment. I have spent my time over the past month evaluating the property and operation from both a bird’s eye view and a more intricate perspective. I’ve

spoken to staff across the property, but would like to hear from you as well. Please don’t hesitate to reach out as I always have an “open door”

policy and would value your feedback. As I stated in my introductory communication, it is truly an honor having been selected by the leadership team at McConnell Golf and be part of their vision in, ‘Building Clubs of the Future. ’ I see an abundance of opportunity at Providence. I am enthusiastic about the future and eager to get started on reaching our full potential together. Take Care, Thomas Sullivan, CCM Providence Country Club General Manager
