Join us for some sharks tooth hunting at Sharks Tooth Island! This is a popular kayaking adventure for locals, so join in with all your friends from PNCC Sharks Tooth Island and its surrounding island are a great location for the amateur fossil hunter; everyone will find something! We will explore the Cape Fear River and its islands from River Road Park in New Hanover County. We will spend the morning paddling from island to island in the Cape Fear River hunting for fossils and prehistoric shark’s teeth. This is an easy paddle; ideal for beginner kayaker. Be sure you bring your cameras so you can capture some beautiful photos.
