L.I.N.K.S. is a military acculturation program designed by spouses to help meet the needs of all military personnel, families, and DOD ID card holders.

L.I.N.K.S. Foundation

The L.I.N.K.S. Foundations workshop is designed for spouses of any age and experience level. Come meet other spouses, network and share experiences at this two– half day workshop.

We are giving our military children (ages 5-10) the opportunity to experience a few of the things their service member parents learn, do and see in basic training. Spend the morning with us testing your physical and mental stamina with lots of kid-friendly activities like Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP), drill, a Nerf Rifle range, Kim's Games, a modified Combat Fitness Test (CFT), and more.

LifeSkills Training and Education

LifeSkills Training and Education is a comprehensive collection of personal and professional skill building classes that promotes positive adjustments and improved individual and family functioning. It provides Marines and family mem-bers practical skills for successful interactions and positive outcomes at work, home, and in life.

Ready, Set, Prepare: Emergency Prep

Preparation is key to overcoming, and sometimes surviving natural disasters and hazards. Each duty station presents varying environmental activities. This workshop teaches participants how to plan and prepare for the unexpected, while keeping their families as safe as possible.

Premarital Seminar

The seminar provides an in-depth look at the procedures for getting married in the United States or overseas. The seminar also hosts information regarding IPAC benefits, legal services, immigration procedures, financial partnerships, and basic communication strategies (PREP).

Family Care Plan

The Family Care Plan is an essential and mandatory part of military readiness that helps Marines and Spouses focus on their job and mission during deployment, mobilization, training, or other times when duty calls. This workshop will highlight the four pillars: legal, medical, financial, and logistics, and help participants design their own solid plan.

This two-hour workshop addresses interpersonal conflict and is designed to help participants become more aware of conflict; empowering them to make healthy choices by managing their responses to conflict.

Franklin Covey’s Speed of Trust for Service Members

Trust plays a critical role in the credibility and performance of an organization. Fostering and sustaining the high trust of others requires specific behaviors. In this full day workshop, participants learn the language of trust, as well as actions to build and maintain trust as leaders. Increasing trust leads to a positive reputation, greater employee retention and improved results within an organization.

Readiness and Deployment Support (RDS)

Readiness and Deployment Support prepares military personnel and their families for the challenges of deployment and separation to help create healthier families.

Hearts Apart

Hearts Apart is a Deployment Support group to give spouses the chance to connect and lean on each other as they navigate the ins and outs of deployment. Each month a new resource will be introduced to help spouses get through deployment and successfully reintegrate after deployment.

Pre-Deployment Brief

Open Pre-deployment briefs provide an overview of available services and support to the specific needs of the unit and those attending. These briefs cover topics such as legal planning, personal preparation, communication tools, and local resources with the participation of local organization representatives. Predeployment briefs contain helpful information Marines, Sailors, and their families can use to help ensure a successful deployment experience.

Family Readiness Program Training (FRPT)

FRPT workshops provide resource information and training to enhance Family Readiness Command Teams in support of the Unit, Personal and Family Readiness Program.

Command Team Training, Family Readiness Command Team Advisor / Assistant

Family Readiness Command Team Training is designed to orient and guide Command Team members in their roles, responsibilities, and operating components of their Unit, Personal and Family Readiness Program. This training provides the required information to implement and execute a successful program to empower Marines and their families to not just survive, but to thrive while taking on the challenges of the military lifestyle.

OPSEC & PII Training

During this training, appointed Family Readiness Assistant or Advisor volunteers will learn about the latest PII and OPSEC issues, including a special focus on social media, and how to safeguard confidential information. PII and OPSEC training is designed to orient and guide all volunteers in their responsibilities to protect PII.

UPFRP Readiness Coordinator Training

UPFRP Readiness Coordinator training provides Deployment and Uniformed Readiness Coordinators with the required information and resources to be successful in their roles and to effectively support the Unit, Personal and Family Readiness Program. This four-day training prepares Readiness Coordinators for the challenging and exciting task of managing the Unit, Personal and Family Readiness Program.
