How long have you been in Paddington? What do you like best about it? My wife Kate and I have lived and worked in Paddington for close to three years now and we are really loving it. For a community so close to the city it is very relaxed. Regarding your job, what motivates you? I enjoy the competitive nature of real estate and find it rewarding having the opportunity to help a client achieve financial success and buy their dream home. Describe the perfect Paddington day/weekend? Definitely kicking the day off at a local cafe. Java Lounge is where you will find me most mornings. It can be taken for granted living next door to Suncorp Stadium but as a sporting tragic going to a game would top off my perfect day. Cats or dogs? Dogs

Dream house? A country homestead surrounded by land and cattle has always been a dream. What’s your favourite neighbourhood, anywhere in the world? Why? Although Paddington is home, last year while visiting NYC I fell in love with the Meatpacking District. How they have converted an outof-use railroad known as the High Line into a public landscape for locals to enjoy, all by private funding, is inspiring. If you weren’t in real estate, what would you be doing? In 2010 I took a 12-month sabbatical from real estate to volunteer for a not-for-profit youth organisation, spending time in regional areas, including Dalby, Chinchilla and Longreach, and places as remote as Coen. I hope in the future to continue doing this type of work.
