The Local Market ‘Sydney real estate is like gold’ is John McGrath’s opinion. In which case Roseville Chase, Castle Cove and Middle Cove are a few of the many ingots that Sydney comprises of. Over the past four years Sydney property prices have risen 64% according to CoreLogic RP Data and your local area has also shared in the increased property prices in line with this greater trend. There have been some amazing results across all prices ranges which has been predominantly driven by low stock levels, low interest rates and foreign buyers. Many people have been holding off selling because they’re concerned they will not find anywhere suitable to move to. However, I have had many clients capitalise on

the buoyant market resulting in premium sales. Some have then rented temporarily giving them time to search for their next home, others we match to upcoming properties before they go to market. Another option is to employ a buyer’s agent. The right one will do the ‘leg work’ for you and help increase your chances of securing the right property once you find it. For a detailed insight of what to expect for 2017 including tips on prospective real estate hot spots please call me for a complimentary copy of the 2017 McGrath Report. Wishing you all the best for 2017.

A Word From John McGrath In our 2017 McGrath Report, we take a look at all the major east coast capital city markets. The stand-out market as always, is Sydney. It remains Australia’s strongest and most enduring market powered by long-standing fundamentals of undersupply and population growth. Sydney real estate is like gold and in my opinion, despite the phenomenal boom of 20122016, Sydney property prices will continue to rise. Figures from CoreLogic RP Data tell us that Sydney property prices have risen 64% in four years. This is spectacular growth and well ahead of the second best

result in Melbourne at 44%. Meantime, the market is showing signs of plateauing but price growth has continued due to a significant undersupply of stock and strong demand buoyed by further falls in interest rates. We believe the burgeoning global audience for Sydney

real estate will be a key contributor to future price growth; and the long term stability of the market and opportunity to create significant personal wealth will sustain the aspirations of Sydneysiders to own their own homes for generations to come.

Testimonials 2 Warrawee Avenue, Castle Cove:

I always knew that I wanted Grant to sell our home. I met Grant at open house inspections in the past and liked his manner and the way he spoke to prospective buys. I knew that if I was to ever sell my home then Grant would be the agent I would use. I was very pleased with the way he ran our campaign and the result he achieved for us. I would have no hesitation in recommending Grant Borley. 207 Deepwater Road, Castle Cove:

Grant did a great job selling our house. He has successfully sold two houses for us now. His approach is realistic and respectful, and he worked very hard to find the best buyer fit for the property. We were kept informed every step of the marketing campaign. It was a good partnership. He also has a great list of trades and other people who were very useful in getting our house ready to sell. Highly recommended.
