Paradise Waters Suburb Overview It is now referred to as the millionaires’ playground that long flew under the radar until recent years with a number of high value and high profile sales putting the suburb back under national spotlight. Buyers with less than $1.1 million will have serious difficulty in buying in the suburb as entry level prices soar in the premier Surfers Paradise enclave comprising eight streets and just over 300 homes - all of which have water frontage. There is just one road in and one road out of Paradise Waters, where two leafy parks flank the entrance bounded by the Nerang River, Jariparilla Cove and the Gold Coast Highway fronting McIntosh Island Park. Paradise Waters has traditionally been a tightly held area where sales reflected residents moving from canalfront to Main River blocks or exclusive point positions. It seems exclusivity is one the main draw factors to the suburb as well as proximity to the beach, the Broadwater and trendy Main Beach. What I adore about Paradise Waters is the quiet family friendly atmosphere while still being moments from Surfers Paradise Business and restaurant precinct and if you love your boats like I do, it is the closest Riverfront suburb to our famed Broadwater.

“I would like to commend and thank Jesse Willcox for his professionalism in the sale of our home. Jesse was always pleasant, punctual, sincere and helpful. The McGrath experience is by far the prestige product in the Australian market. Their attention to detail in every aspect of the real estate game is quite impressive, and this resulted in a sale price well over 10% more than the best offer from a previous campaign with another agent. I highly recommend Jesse to anyone considering selling their home.” 5 Viking Court, Paradise Waters - Mr Maher

“Thank you for your efforts in successfully marketing 85 Admiralty Drive, Paradise Waters. A number of prominent agents also had the listing however your hard work, persistency and creative marketing achieved the desired result. Well done.” 85 Admirality Drive, Paradise Waters – Mr Brodie

“Jesse helped us both buy and sell property on the Gold Coast. As buyers we were very keen on a property which Jesse introduced us to. He was considerate and patient in the negotiations and came up with innovative solutions to finalise the sale. On the selling side we had a limited time frame to arrange the marketing and advertising. This was done very promptly and with minimal hassle. It was all organized very professionally and we were very happy, we suggest Jesse to everyone considering selling.” 21 Lennie Avenue, Main Beach – Mr and Mrs Reynolds

“I want to sincerely thank you very much for the effort you put in with the sale of our house. You were contactable, friendly and efficient with every query and follow I needed at the time and if you should be in contact with John McGrath at any stage, I am more than happy to convey my thoughts of your work with us. Unfortunately the real estate industry can sometimes be disappointing in terms of service, however dealing with you has restored my faith that there are in fact honest, reliable and skilled real estate agents out there. You are more than a real estate agent, you are a real estate professional. So, thank you again, and I know as soon as the need arises I shall be in touch with you, as I would dearly like to purchase from you when the time and property is right. I know every opportunity I get to send someone your way I shall do so with pleasure.” 24 Neptune Court, Paradise Waters – Mr and Mrs Rositer

“The manner in which you worked with us to ensure that the purchase was handled professionally and promptly was certainly a major reason that the sale went through, as we were already willing to commence with an offer on another property. I would suggest that you can certainly give yourself a pat of the back for a job well done and a sale that was concluded as a result of your handling of this sale. The follow up and purchase process was also seamless and professional and we would not hesitate to recommend yourself and McGrath to others as a result.” 15 Buccaneer Court, Paradise Waters – Mr and Mrs Rossiter

Main Beach Suburb Overview It is the Gold Coast’s trendy, upmarket beachside suburb where the wealthy shop, celebrities hide out and a slew of top restaurants cater to fine diners. Palazzo Versace is there for the wealthy, Sea World is a favourite with families, The Spit draws a bevy of dog walkers, boats rest at the Southport Yacht Club marina and Narrowneck is a popular choice for local surfers. It was formerly known as Southport East, well before the 1925 construction of Jubilee Bridge back when visitors were ferried across the Broadwater to the main surf beach. Land was later auctioned and holiday houses built, followed by the establishment of the Main Beach Bathing Pavilions in 1934. High rises are recent developments within the Tedder Avenue precinct and complement the residential neighbourhood, while restaurants and coffee shops create an intimate village vibe. It’s a suburb perfect for a relaxed atmosphere reminiscent of the Eastern suburbs of Sydney which I love.
