ith more than $35 million in prize money plus a splash of Hollywood glitz, Sydney Autumn Racing 2015 is set to be the biggest yet. The new eight week program spans from 28 February to 18 April at Warwick Farm, Royal Randwick and Rosehill Gardens, showcasing the best horses, jockeys and trainers competing across 58 group races. The program consists of two of Australia’s biggest racing events, Golden Slipper Carnival and The Championships, promising to be a celebration of world-class racing, high fashion and all day entertainment for Sydney’s racegoers and social set.

Starting two weeks earlier from previous years on 21 March, Tooheys New Golden Slipper Day at Rosehill Gardens is home to the world’s richest race for two year olds and is one of the biggest days of Group 1 racing in Australia. Flying into Sydney specifically for the day will be Hollywood celebrity Nicole Richie, who will judge Myer Fashions on the Field with huge prizes up for grabs. Live music and lots of hospitality options including the Nova 96.9 Garden Party will make this an unmissable event for the new breed of racegoers.

Across consecutive Saturdays 4 & 11 April, Royal Randwick will host one of Australia’s biggest international race series, The Championships. This will be a massive two days of racing, fashion, entertainment, punting and socialising with a world-wide audience. Premium hospitality is top of the list with gourmet food precinct Little Sydney, plus complementary makeup touch-ups, pop up bars and exciting entertainment making the grand finals of Australian racing must-attend events on every Sydneysider’s calendar. The final day Schweppes Stakes Day at Royal Randwick will showcase further Group 1 racing action and is a day for everyone with themed bars, music and plenty to keep the kids entertained throughout the day. All tracks and the two feature carnivals across Sydney Autumn Racing will offer a unique experience for every racegoer.
