On behalf of the Mill Creek Encore Alliance,

I would like to thank you for supporting what we believe to be the latest in a long series of outstanding theatrical productions staged at Mill Creek. Recent theatre seasons have provided many unforgettable moments for our patrons, thanks primarily to Katherine Alexander - Theatre Director, and our students who have devoted many nights, weekends, and their boundless energies to become the actors, dancers, singers, theatrical technicians, playwrights, and directors you see before you tonight.

by Matt Buchan These successes have popularized our Theatre Program to the an all who wish to be a part of this extent that additional classes were added this year to accommodate

rewarding in-school and after-school experience. However, with success comes a greater overhead cost; badly needed upgrades to dressing rooms, prop and costume storage areas, sound system, and IT systems integration were completed. Other projects, such as stage curtain repair or replacement, are currently on hold. Mill Creek Encore Alliance is the non-profit organization responsible for raising the funds necessary to stage these productions, and we are honored to do so. Supplemental fundraising is the only way we can continue to keep the quality of the program consistently high while accommodating the number of students expected to participate in 2015 and beyond. At the same time, many of our Mill Creek families are in less of a position to help financially. As a result: This year, we have fewer donors and fewer donations than ever before. This year we need your help. Your tax deductible gift of $100 would allow us to buy any of the following for the remaining productions: • • • • •

18 yards of material for the costumes you see tonight 9 cans of paint 6 sheets of ¼” plywood used in the sets 1 day of truck rental to move the set to a competition venue 1/30th of the $3000 royalty fees necessary to license a musical

While every stick of lumber is re-used until it’s no longer serviceable, these items, and many others, are the day-to-day consumables critical to bringing each production from concept to opening night. Please help us maintain our theatre season by writing a check to Mill Creek Encore Alliance (or MCEA) and dropping it in the collection top hat on your way out or visiting us online at www.millcreektheatre.com/donate. Your donation is fully tax deductible, with every dollar going directly to support productions staged by Mill Creek Theatre.

Thank You for Your Generosity. Bill Skeean, Co-President, MCEA

Jason Lane, Principal Mill Creek High School

“What does it mean to be a superhero? We’re all fighting for the better good. But, at the same time, what stands out is, as superheroes, you don’t give up; you don’t surrender... that’s what makes a superhero.” ~Ellen Wong

Their annual conference at a health spa called O. MacDonald’s Farm (what else?) is attacked by invaders from the evil planet Inferna. Star Raider, the intergalactic villain, has discovered the secret of the E.I.E.I.O.’s strength: they all seem to be some insignificant Earth Person, then they change their clothes and become super heroes. So he has prepared a serum that will rob them of the ability to change clothes! Can the E.I.E.I.O. and the entire Earth be saved from enslavement by nonmembers Superbrain and Wizard Woman? Learn the answer in this takeoff on all the super heroes you’ve ever heard of.
