Game of Tiaras Emily King- Cinderella To our Cinderella ... We are so excited about your acting debut at Mill Creek. The first of many plays, we are sure. Break a leg! We love you (and you will always be our princess). Mom, Dad, and Alex

GAME OF TIARAS

When the aging king of a Magical Kingdom (England) decides to split his empire between his three daughters, Cinderella, Belle, and the Snow Queen (who in no way resembles a copyrighted character), terrible tragedy ensues. Terrible, hilarious tragedy. Combining the gut-wrenching plot twists of Game of Thrones and the soul-numbing despair of Shakespearean tragedy, this adaptation of King Lear will leave you dying with laughter as the body count mounts. When you play the Game of Tiaras, you win or you die.

EMILY BROWN, DIRECTOR Emily Brown is a senior at Mill Creek and this is her fourth year of theatre. She has experience in comedic, dramatic, and musical theatre. Some of her favorite roles include Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Ernest, The Mouse in Rapunzel: Untangled, and The Ghost in Canned Hamlet. She also enjoys working off stage, especially in lights and mics. When she’sz not working on theatre, she enjoys listening to music, writing for a music magazine, and talking to all her friends. She wants to offer a huge thank you to all the cast- “None of this could’ve been done without you. Thanks for dealing with my craziness everyday. Another thank you to Ms. A for letting me live out my dream of directing the new batch of theatre freshmen. Enjoy the show!”

FAIRY TALE COURTROOM

Two of our most hated fairy tale villians, the Big Bad Wolf and the Wicked Witch, are brought to trial in this tale. Both the Wolf and the Witch have been frolicking from fairy tale to fairy tale wreaking havoc as they try to prevent the general public from living happily ever after. Hear the personal accounts of what happened, told in testimonies and flashback sequences, from characters such as Snow White, Dorothy, Sleeping Beauty, the Three Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood and many others, including the Witch and the Wolf themselves, as each trial unfolds.

JACK SHARP, DIRECTOR This is Jack’s 4th year being in Mill Creek’s Theatre department, and he is very excited to be directing a play. We are so proud of the beautiful, independent young woman you have become. Break a leg. Mom & Dad Bad Auditions by Bad Actors Joe/Charlize -Natasha Lochtenburg

BAD AUDITIONS BY BAD ACTORS

Newbie director Carol has one day to find the leads for a community theater production of Romeo and Juliet. But what seems like a simple task proves impossible when the pool of auditioners includes extreme method actors, performers who just don’t know how to channel their rage, and one man who may or may not think he’s a cat. This hilarious comedy will bring you to the last place you’d ever want to be... behind the doors of a casting session.

ALEX KING, DIRECTOR A senior at MCHS and in his fourth year of Mill Creek theater Alex King is excited for his directorial debut. His previous experience in the MC Theater department includes Pappy in Lil Abner, Doody in Grease, and many other exciting roles along with various tech experiences. He is also one of the Thespian officers in the department. This experience has been a great one for Alex, and he is extremely proud of his cast and all their hard work throughout the whole process. He is very thankful that Ms Alexander has given him this opportunity and has made the best of it. He is very excited for everyone to see this show and hopes the audience can enjoy his and his fellow directors performances

FREAK Fauna- Kelsey Brooks

FREAK

Monique dreads school. The constant torment makes her feel like a sideshow freak. Every day, Monique wanders the scariest place on earth, the school hallway, and wishes she could just disappear - and then she does. Monique finds herself out of high school and in an “unusual, disturbing, and fantabulastic” sideshow. Monique the freak, the freakiest freak of all, wonders how she got there, why she is there, and what other outcasts lurk inside. This fantasy social drama explores bullying and its extreme consequences. Though sometimes dark, Freak emphasizes hope, and it is hope that finally leads Monique home.

ALYSSA EBLEN, DIRECTOR Wrapping up her fourth year in the Mill Creek Encore Alliance, Alyssa could not be more excited to present to you Freak by Angela Hill. While the show is dark and hits a sensitive subject, Alyssa feels it is an important piece and hopes it will leave the same imprint on the audience that it left on her—look for hope even when everything seems lost! This being her fourth year in the program and third year as an Officer, Alyssa is heavily involved with her theatre family and anxiously awaits the shows this year. She has been involved in twenty shows, both as an actor and a technician, here at Mill Creek, some of her favorites being Annie, Lil Abner, Pride and Prejudice, Tuna Fish Eulogy, and The Importance of Being Earnest. She says she is blessed to be able to spend her last year as a director and is extremely proud of all the hard work her students have put in. She would like to thank God and her parents for providing her with the opportunity to do this and giving her this love for theatre. Enjoy the show!
