Metro Logistics Limited is a medium-sized yet extremely vibrant transport solutions provider. Established in 2001 as a small family business dealing in matatu transport, the company has since then grown by leaps and bounds into a three hundred-plus million ayear turn-over business.
our goal is to build and sustain strong, long term partnerships with our clients by providing personalized and efficient services in all our operations. We currently operate a fleet of over 30 commercial and support vehicles and employ close to sixty great members of staff who remain passionate about our core values of caring for our treasured clients and delivering the promise. With highly dedicated management, team leaders, drivers and support staff, our goal is to build and sustain strong, long term partnerships with our clients by providing personalized and efficient services in all our operations. Over time, we have cut our niche as the preferred choice for high end companies seeking to outsource distribution and transport solutions on either a dedicated or ad hoc basis. Our customers include some of the country’s largest manufacturing and agricultural concerns such as East African Breweries, Coca Cola Bottling Company of Nairobi, Athi River Mining Cement, Yara Fertilizers, Lesiolo Grain Handlers, Bidco Oil Refineries, National Cereals and Produce Board, Kenya National Federation of Agricultural Producers and Amiran Kenya among others. 1. Managing Director: MR. MBURU NJOROGE
Metro Logistics Ltd
The Managing Director of Metro Logistics is the overall leader of the management team and is in charge of shaping company strategies and policies. In addition, the Managing Director also directs business operations, from establishing and implementing the business plan to Synergizing the units within the business. He is ultimately responsible for the success or failure of the company and will be accountable to shareholders and other stakeholders of the company. The Managing Director works in close liaison with the top management team relating to issues which will affect company performance.
Some of his qualifications include: 1.
Bachelors of Laws degree from University of Nairobi.

Diploma in Law from Kenya School of law.
3.
Almost 10 years as a Managing Director and founding shareholder of the company.
4.
Effective communicator with excellent leadership skills, management experience and the ability to motivate his employees.

Results-oriented and creative in addition to having strong business-development skills and the ability to interact with clients, staff and senior management.

The Operations Manager in Metro is in charge of planning, directing, and coordinating in- plant logistics operations of the Company at the various sites we operate at. He plans and directs activities such as loading/ off-loading operations, driver training, tool box sessions and safety campaigns. He is the first link between the Company and our customers and is always on hand to offer real time solutions to their concerns.
Pallet Division Metro Logistics Pallet Division mainly focuses on the manufacture, marketing and distribution of wooden pallets. Our feasibility studies have revealed a yawning gap in the market with current suppliers unable to meet the huge demand. Our services: “Stock in hand” services We hold stock of common sizes and also for regular orders as agreed/prearranged. We have storage facilities to accommodate a range of products from wooden pallets and crates to fruit bins. The company owns a modern fleet of vehicles capable of transporting all products manufactured to the customers’ sites. Our fleet includes both flat deck trucks, box bodies and open-siders for specific orders that require dry delivery.
Our Products Pallets We supply a wide range of custom designed wooden pallets for all uses and for various industries. The Pallet Company offers a ‘complete design and build’ service.
Crates Wooden Crates are supplied to various industries for the transportation of specialist products, for example; glass, machinery etc. Crates are supplied either CKD, (kit-set) or fully assembled. Crates are made from timber and/or plywood. We offer a free design and quote service. Both large quantities, and one off orders available.
Pallet/Bin Componentry We supply any pallet and or bin componentry to manufacture pallets, bins and crates on site. Both Export and Domestic use available.
Master packs We are able to process timber into any specifications then stack in master packs. In this form timber is easy to load into containers or as break bulk directly onto ships. Below are photos of the products we offer,

Our services include Pick-up, repair and re-delivery of pallets. We can also dispose of un-repairable pallets and supply repair boards for companies to self-repair.
