The Area Agency on Aging of North Texas provides oneon-one help with questions about Medicare, Social Security, Medigap Insurance, Medicaid Nursing Home Care and other types of benefits Appointments are 30 minutes . Senior Recreation Center membership is not required to participate

Caregiver Support

The Wellness Center for Older Adults provides caregiver support through practical direction, resources, therapeutic counseling, and emotional support to caregivers with opportunities to gain insight and learn healthy coping skills related to self-care and caregiving specific strategies . Anyone providing care and supervision to an individual is eligible to receive our services through individual counseling or group support . Call the Wellness Center for Older Adults to schedule an appointment and initial consultation at 972-953-7669 .

Hearing Screenings

The Wellness Center for Older Adults provides lab work screenings, and toe and foot care services on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month . Registration is required
