Volunteer at DownStreet Art, a series of art and cultural activities coordinated by MCLA’s Berkshire Cultural Resource Center (BCRC), a nonprofit organization that provides resources and support to area artists, art managers, and creative workers
North Adams is a boom town of opportunity and activity. As an MCLA student, you’ll have access to local internships, as well as networking and mentoring from area professionals. At MCLA, Rose Mastico explored a deep interest in neuroscience� She worked independently on an honors thesis focused on the electroencephalogram, an instrument that reads brain recordings� Rose also worked with the university president to secure a grant to buy a new electroencephalogram cap and other new equipment, leaving the lab better than she found it
