CE LEVEL 2 ARMOUR
Easily upgradable protection
X-Halo offers riders the ability to improve the impact protection in their pants and jackets by upgrading to CE Level 2 impact armour.
This soft armour changes at a molecular level when impacted, changing to a hard polymer and allowing it to absorb and dissipate the impact. This is important at all levels and speeds of road or adventure riding, adding another layer of protection for riders outside of CE rated materials and leather.
X-Halo’s back protection design is not only soft and flexible, its ripples allow more surface area for shock absorption.
The back protectors come in three sizes to fit a wide variety of jackets and ensure complete protection. Small (40-44cm) fits ladies and youth, medium (44-48cm) fits ladies and smaller men’s and large (48-52cm) suits most larger men’s sizes. Be sure to check the size of your jacket back protector pocket for the correct protection, as too small for the jacket is not comfortable and will not provide adequate spinal protection.
X-Halo armour is certified to CE EN16212:2024 Level 2 standard. The jacket/pant range is an extension of the success X-Halo has in premium level MX helmets, which has helped to protect professional athletes such as Todd Waters and Brett Metcalfe.
