McMaster University

McMaster University is a public research university located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. It bears the name of William McMaster, a prominent Canadian Senator and banker whose substantial bequeathed funds helped form the beginning of the university. The institution was originally incorporated under the terms of an act of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in 1887.
