CLASS TOPICS PreK – 1 and 2 – 4 Uncover the mystery behind dinosaurs by examining fossil replicas and asking questions to gain a sense of the life and habitats of dinosaurs before extinction.
PreK – 1 Strengthen communication skills and take a peek into the lives of children from around the globe to experience the sights and sounds of different customs worldwide.
PreK – 2 Engage busy brains and inspire collaboration while pretending to be an ant and helping to complete the work of the different ants in the colony.
K–4 Work together to plan, engineer and build a healthy and thriving community that meets the needs of its “citizens.”

Students enjoy hands-on opportunities to explore nutrition and fitness in ways that help them understand their bodies, the importance of making healthy choices and apply concepts in everyday situations.
January 31 – May 31, 2015 Students are immersed in a variety of active STEM experiences that challenge them to form a hypothesis and perform an experiment in the classroom, or explore the kitchen to discover the science behind everyday objects and actions.

Creativity Jam is funded with money from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund that was created with the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008.

May 23 – September 7, 2015 Problem-solving is at the heart of this exhibit as students work together using critical thinking, cooperation and experimentation to diagnose and then solve problems while exploring hands-on STEM learning. Broken? Fix it! was developed by the Long Island Children's Museum with the support of the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
