Foundation in it for the long run Eric Jaramishian Staff writer The El Dorado Community Foundation’s effort to help county residents impacted by the Caldor Fire disaster has not stopped and probably will not stop for another three years, according the nonprofit’s Executive Director Bill Roby.
“We’re still accumulating more financial revenue so we can continue through the next couple of years because they are going to need financial assistance,” Roby told the Mountain Democrat. “(There) will be a lot of work to do when it comes to gravel, tree removal, generators and water lines.” Some 5,000 evacuees applied and were approved for the organization’s relief
