Committee for Echuca Moama
Formed in July 2011, Committee for Echuca Moama (C4EM) is a member-based, self-funding, independent and apolitical organisation that brings together the broad cross-section of the region’s private, public and not-for-profit sectors. C4EM advocate for the issues and initiatives that make Echuca Moama a better place to live, work and play. C4EM works with all levels of government and develops partnerships with key stakeholder groups to achieve its vision and mission. The strategic direction and priorities of the organisation are driven by its members, with the endorsement of the board. Key projects for C4EM include economic growth, enabling infrastructure and liveability. The board is currently chaired by Dean Oberin and the chief executive officer role held by Deanne Armstrong. The board consists of community representatives, business owners, government employees and media people. Moama & District Preschool Centre
Moama & District Preschool Centre is a not-forprofit, community based double unit preschool educating the children of Moama and District for 46 years. They offer a safe, secure and happy learning environment. The dedicated staff offer a flexible and stimulating program that reflects the needs of individual children, as well as the overall needs of each group. The curriculum incorporates all areas of education and care to children aged from three to five years. Rochester Elmore District Health Service
Rochester Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) provides a range of services such as acute, residential aged care and primary care services in north central Victoria. Located in the town of Rochester, REDHS services a catchment population of more than 8500 people. REDHS enjoys a strong relationship with the community and is focused on delivering services to meet identified community needs. REDHS has an urgent care centre that operates 24 hours, seven days a week. Yalukang Aged Care provides respite and permanent aged care services, offering 60 individual rooms with ensuites, incorporating both high care and low care services, and a specialist Memory Support Unit. Community Care Services are provided locally. They include Allied Health, Group Exercise Programs, Home Care and Social Support Group. Community Living & Respite Services
Community Living & Respite Services (CLRS) is a community organisation founded in 1979. It is accredited to provide disability services in Echuca Moama and surrounding districts, and registered with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). CLRS’ core values are respect, collaboration, flexibility and accountability. Their services are developed in partnership with people with disability, including family and carers. CLRS has 160 staff with experience in a variety of areas — disability, nursing, teaching and aged care. Their vision is a community enriched by the inclusion of all, empowering individuals and families to live the life they choose.
