Take to the Deni strets
There will be music, stalls, fun activities and much more at the ‘Do It In Deni’ Street Bazaar on Saturday, March 11.
Part of Cressy St will be closed to trafc between Napier and Edwardes Sts, and adjacent the Deniliquin Waring Gardens, allowing those attending to peruse local shops and enjoy the activities on ofer at their own leisure.
The family friendly event will showcase and celebrate Deni’s local businesses and services and will run from 9am to noon.
The jam-packed event is a great way to spend time together with family and friends, with something to interest everyone.
There will be food vans on site for all the foodies, or you can purchase from your favourite local eateries located in the CBD.
Stores will trade, and there will also be street stalls and children’s activities.
Drop by one of the stalls to learn more about local groups and services.
Entertainment will be covered by local musicians attached to the South West Music Regional Conservatorium.
They will take up busking positions throughout the Deniliquin CBD.
Complementing the event will be the monthly Naponda Farmers Market, just at the end of the block running along the front of Cressy St.
And make sure to gather in the adjacent Waring Gardens from 10am for the annual running of the Deni Dachshund Dash.
Sausage dogs from across the region will go headto-head, with a locally designed trophy and bragging rights up for grabs.
