It has been a great honour being able to share with you this edition of What’s On, and explore everything the area has to offer.
Many of you visit the community to experience our iconic paddle steamers.
This spring two are celebrating milestones, the PS Alexander Arbuthnot turning 100 years old and the PS Canberra 110.
The Port of Echuca will come alive in the September school holidays with anniversary cruises, and Koondrook is holding a community birthday party to celebrate the importance of paddle steamers to the region.
If you have wanted to know who is the fastest, man or paddle steamer, Sweat vs Steam will see you race against the PS Adelaide For those who want to be on the water, the Beehag 100 is running along a new route this year from Torrumbarry Weir to Wills Bend and back again, or you can paddle in the Massive Murray Paddle from Yarrawonga to Koondrook.
In spring, the region comes alive with festivals, food, wine and music events to suit everyone.
Travel out of town to Stanhope, Kyabram, Tongala or Lockington to sample all the delights and sounds the communities have to offer or you can jump on a bus for the Perricoota Pop and Pour Festival.
I, myself, am looking forward to entering my baked goods in the Echuca Moama Agriculture Show pavilion display and helping out with the rural ambassador competition. Get out, eat, drink, have fun, be active and make the most of Echuca Moama this spring.

Rock up to ‘jammin’ camp
PEOPLE COME FROM FAR AND WIDE TO STRUM, SING AND JIG AT THE JIGARRE JAMMIN CAMP.
The camp is one of two weekends a year in Girgarre where the monthly Jigarre Jammin session expands to the whole weekend, with the other held in April.
Jigarre Jammin organiser Irene Labbett said about 30 odd campers set up each camp.
“Technically it starts on Friday but people start to rock-in earlier in the week,” Irene said.
“It is quite casual and they catch up with friends and jam around the park.”
On Friday night, the camp holds a ‘walk-up’ concert, with Jigarre Jammin sessions on Saturday and old time gospel singing on Sunday.
There is no need to practice before coming along, or if you don’t own an instrument, the group has some you can borrow.
“You can come along and listen, or you can come along and sing,” Irene said.
“If you have any sort of skills at all, if you have learned a few years of guitar, say in your youth and have not done anything since, we keep it at a level for people who are not professional musicians.
“We make it easy for people to play along.
“We put the words with the chords up on the screen and the songs are kept in a simple catchy format.
Jigarre Jammin Camp is held from Friday, September 22 to Sunday, September 24. For more information visit www.girgarre.com.au/jigarre-jammin

Junior jamboree a stepping stone
THE COUNTRY UNDER-12 JAMBOREE IS HEADED BACK TO ECHUCA-MOAMA ONCE AGAIN.
The 2022 edition marked the first in two years, and this Year 1200 players have been whittled down to 240 highly touted basketball youngsters, who will take to the courts at Echuca South to showcase their skillsets from September 16 to 19.
Identified via several skill clinics, players will be sorted into teams with the jamboree providing an opportunity for players to compete in a highperformance environment, acting as a stepping stone into the Victorian High Performance system. Echuca’s Jaxon Key, Saige Milner, Pippa Leeds, and Chloe Ryan headline the list of bright upand-coming country basketballers looking to get their start in the Basketball Victoria pathways, with games taking place from Saturday to Tuesday. Since the Jamboree’s inception 29 years ago, the event has taken place in Echuca for 24 of those
editions, consistently attracting a big following in the border town and providing a glimpse into the future of country basketball.
The jamboree begins on Saturday, September 16, at the EMBA courts on 244 High St, Echuca.

Border basketball extravaganza
IN TERMS OF REGIONAL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENTS, FEW ARE BIGGER THAN ECHUCA-MOAMA BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION’S ANNUAL JUNIOR TOURNAMENT.
The three-day extravaganza attracts more than 100 teams from all around Victoria and even parts of NSW to compete at the EMBA courts in Echuca South, with the 2023 edition set to tip off from Friday, September 29 and going until Sunday, October 1. Divisions range from under-12s all the way through to under-18s, offering an opportunity for some of country basketball’s rising stars to claim some silverware.
The tournament is an important one for the EMBA as its main fundraiser, with the benefit of hosting so many players and families, often more than
1000 people involved, flowing on to the border communities.
“The tournament is our major fundraiser of the year,” EMBA president Lisa Baker said after last year’s tournament.
“We try to run it as best we can, and we have had some really good feedback this year, as we do normally every year, just on how well run it is.
“For the region, the amount of money it brings in is phenomenal. For the ones who haven’t been here before, you hope that they decide to come back to Echuca-Moama for a holiday, not just for basketball.”

Teddy bears on show
THIS SCHOOL HOLIDAYS THE ECHUCA HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS HOLDING A DISPLAY TO DELIGHT ALL THE KIDS, BOTH LITTLE AND BIG READY, TEDDY, GO!
Echuca Historical Society treasurer Deidre Coombs was thinking about doing something fun that kids would enjoy, bringing families into the society’s museum.
“Just prior to COVID, we had a couple of children’s fun days in the holiday periods, and they were always such a big event and success,” Deidre said.
“And I was thinking about something we could put on and I thought ‘what about teddy bears’?”
The display will include teddy bears from the museum and the community, and information panels on teddy bears.
Only focusing on teddy bears, the Echuca Historical Society is encouraging the community to put their teddy bears into the display.
As part of the display on Wednesday, September 20, the Echuca Historical Society is holding a ‘Kids Fun Day’ with free entry to the museum, including children’s entertainment and activities.
The day will consist of storytelling, live music and a sing-along, old-time games and a barbecue lunch.
As part of the ‘Kids Fun Day’ Campaspe Shire Council is sponsoring a bus for families to come up from Rochester.
“It was a way to make it a fun day, without costing people anything and the kids can enjoy themselves,” Deidre said.
“Because when we have had family days before, people come in and go, ‘Oh, we didn’t know you were here’, and they might have lived here all their lives.”
If you would like your teddy bear to be part of ‘Ready, Teddy, Go!’ from Monday, September 4, Echuca Historical Society Museum will welcome teddy bears.
Ready, Teddy, Go! is on display at the Echuca Historical Society Museum, 1–3 Dickson St, Echuca from Friday, September 15 to Sunday, October 2.

Show off your rig
THE AMERICAN IRON ECHUCA TRUCK DISPLAY IS RETURNING TO ROTARY PARK ECHUCA FOR THE 15TH YEAR OVER THE WEEKEND OF SEPTEMBER 9 AND 10, 2023.
American Truck Historical Society Australian Chapter president Scott Hough said the Echuca truck display was the group’s main show for the year.
“The main aim of the club is to preserve the past for the future, that’s our motto,” Scott said.
“With a world that is going to IT and things, all these old transport vehicles and trucks are a fair part of Australian history.
“Because if we didn’t have the trucks there would be nothing in the shops.
“Most of the members have club registered trucks that are more than 25 years old.
“We have trucks that date back as far as the early 1900s, and this Echuca display gives everybody a chance, when the sun starts coming out again, to come out and display their rigs.”
There will be a huge range of trucks on display, not just American brands, even though the event is called American Iron.
“But then there are also English trucks like Bedfords and Commer and different things like that,” Scott said.
“There is a whole variety of trucks, they go from light utilities, right up to heavy trucks and road train rated trucks.
“There will also be an amount of cars on display, with the local car club bringing cars along.”
Shannons Insurance and Fleetparts from Toowoomba will be at the event with a display, along with market stalls selling things needed for every man (or woman) cave.

Steamer races with a twist
HAVE YOU EVER WANTED TO RACE A PADDLESTEAMER AND FIND OUT WHO IS THE FASTEST — MAN ON THE LAND OR A STEAMER ON THE RIVER?
That is exactly what we will find out at the 2023 Sweat vs Steam on Sunday, October 8.
“We are a running event, which is held along the Murray River through the port area of Echuca,” Sweat vs Steam event director Sarah Mulkearns said.
“The main drawcard of the event is that participants run against a paddlesteamer, aiming to beat the paddlesteamer to the finish line.
“Our claim to fame is that we race against the oldest operating wooden hauled paddle steamer in the world, which is the PS Adelaide.”
The running event comprises four courses: a 5 km, a 10 km, a 2 km junior river run and a 600 metre kids dash.
The event is suitable for all levels, abilities and ages, with the junior river run for children eight to 12 years old and the kids’ dash for anyone under 12.
The whole premise of the Sweat vs Steam is that everybody runs, and the money raised goes back into the community in the form of grants.
Echuca | October 8
18 What’s On
“All the money that is raised goes into the grant fund and then we distribute those funds to those awarded a grant,” Sarah said.
“A sporting club, a school, not for profit organisation, even individuals can apply for a grant.
“I know that last year, we raised $12,000 that went back into the community.”
In 2022 the event had almost 400 participants and they are hoping to beat that number of entries this year.
If running is not your thing, you are able to cruise on the PS Adelaide as part of the race or take up one of the great vantage points around the course.
“Last year, I think there were about a dozen people who beat the boat,” she said.
“It depends on how fast the river is flowing, that’s what the skipper said.”
Sweat vs Steam will be held on Sunday, October 8 from 8 am at the Hopwood Gardens, Echuca. To enter Sweat vs Steam, visit www.sweatvssteam.com.au/

The club, made up of volunteers, stages the oncea-year Gunbower Gold Cup meeting.
But the cup has not been run and won since 2019.
COVID saw the race cancelled in 2020 and 2021, and after much work in the lead-up, the 2022 cup meeting was postponed just five days out due to a spate of wet weather.
Despite the hammer blows, the Gunbower Racing Club has stuck solid and the volunteers are all hard at work to ensure the 2023 Moama Bowling Club Gunbower Gold Cup is the best yet.
“We had two blokes out there yesterday morning with the mower and whipper snipper,” GRC president Vicki McGillivray said.
“There is a tremendous group of people on the committee, who all volunteer their time and work together to ensure the Cup meeting is a success.
“We get terrific support from the schools and service clubs, it is a race day which brings the community together.”
Vicki said the impacts of the past few years had not dimmed the enthusiasm of racegoers, who are keen to be trackside when the 2023 edition of the cup is run and won on Saturday, October 7.
“We’ve had very strong bookings from Geelong, parts of Melbourne, Bendigo and Cobram,” she said.
“Hopefully we’ll get a crowd around the 2500 mark which would just be terrific.”
The Gunbower Cup is a race known far and wide for the exploits of the late racecaller Jack Styring.
Jack, who passed away a week short of his 93rd birthday in February 2022, called a staggering 60 Gunbower Cups from 1952 to 2010, a feat recognised by the Guinness Book of Records.
Vicki said the club would run shuttle buses from Cohuna, Barham, Koondrook, Kerang and Echuca, in addition to transporting Gunbower residents to and from the racecourse.
The Fashions on the Field will feature a prize pool of $10,000 across the six categories classic lady, stylish gentleman, stylish lady, stylish teen (male and female) and stylish filly and colt (for children aged five-12 years).
The kids will be entertained with a series of free activities provided by The Zone Bendigo, Kelly Sports and Chillair Studios.

PS Alexander Arbuthnot turns 100
“I saw that the PS Alexander Arbuthnot was going to be 100 this year,” PS Alexander Arbuthnot 100 years celebration event co-ordinator Patricia Chick said.
“Then I went looking to find out that Koondrook actually made 14 different vessels, either paddlesteamers or barges.
“I thought that there is not a heck of a lot in Koondrook that tells us about that part of our heritage and our history.”
Patricia was successful in gaining a grant from the Foundation for Regional and Rural Renewal, resulting in a research project on the vessels made in Koondrook.
“The Barham-Koondrook Historical Society did research on the vessels that were made at Koondrook,” she said.
That research is being put on an informative sign at the Koondrook wharf, talking about the local paddle boats and how they were important to the region’s development.
The sign will be unveiled as part of the community’s 100th birthday celebrations of the PS Alexander Arbuthnot.
Patricia is hoping for a flotilla of boats on the river for the PS Alexander Arbuthnot 100 years celebration.

Bigger and better ag show
THERE IS SO MUCH TO SEE AND DO AT THE ECHUCA MOAMA AND DISTRICT AGRICULTURAL SHOW THIS YEAR.
Echuca-Moama | November 11-12 36 What’s On
Echuca Moama and District Agricultural Show Society president Allen Mathers thinks there is something for everyone at the show.
“This is the first show since 2019, where we will have a complete show because the one we had last year didn’t have dairy cattle or anything like that due to the floods,” Allen said.
“It’s pretty good in the horse arenas, with horses there for two days.
“The sheep, dairy and beef cattle are split over two days, with poultry on Sunday.
“The ute show is on, with a show ‘n shine on Saturday and classic cars on Sunday.
“We get good displays in the pavilion, everything from cookery, horticulture, knitting, sewing and photography is really big.
“Being a Showmen’s Guild show, we rely on the rides coming to see what’s on.
“We are encouraging people to go into the junior ambassadors and rural ambassadors competitions.”
The Echuca Moama Agricultural Show is working with schools and children to produce posters which will be displayed in the home field pavilion, alongside the arts and crafts.
This year there will be a big scarecrow competition for the whole family and a Battle of the Bands for the older kids.
For the farmers among us, there will be an on-farm challenge for teams of four where you will have to work out things like the gestation period of cattle, horses, sheep, be able to pack eggs, flip a tractor tyre and back a trailer.
The committee is in the throes of organising a dog high jump for Saturday afternoon.
Fireworks will be from dusk on Saturday night.
“We get pony rides and a petting zoo in, we pay for that, so mum and dad, once they are through the gate, they can get a lot of free activities for their children,” Allen said.
“The main thing is to put something on for everyone.”
The Echuca Moama Agricultural Show will be held at Campaspe Park Raceway on Saturday, November 11 and Sunday, November 12.

THE JUMBUCKS, THE ANNUAL MATHOURA SPEED SHEAR AND ANNUAL CANCER FUNDRAISER IS RETURNING THIS YEAR.
The event raises money for the Mathoura Bra Fence, which then goes to support locals that are going through cancer treatment.
“It is a community event that has shearers turn up and enter a competition, a shearing competition,” Mathoura Speed Shear organiser Anna Robinson said.
“We have kids’ activities, a licensed bar, food and market stalls to keep everyone fed, watered and entertained, when they are not shearing or watching the shearing.
“There are four events, the open, seniors, intermediate and women that shearers can enter.
“The prize money is not yet sorted, but the prize money has increased in the open events. Along with the four events the Aussies go up against the Kiwis in a Trans-Tasman battle of the fastest crew.
Speed shearing rules are simple, the quickest shearer to shear a sheep to ‘shed standard’ wins. That was the case for 2022 Mathoura Speed Shear open winner Reef Wereta, with a time of 26.53 seconds.
Working crews between Echuca and Deniliquin, Reef has been shearing for eight years.
“It was the second year I’ve gone in the top grade, the open section,” Reef said.
“It was good to go up against the best of the best shearers, then winning, which meant I was the best.”
The 2023 Mathoura Speed Shear is held at the Mathoura Recreation Reserve, Morris St, Mathoura on Saturday, November 4. Registration starts at 9.30 am, with shearing at noon.

Massive Murray Paddle returns
HAVING STARTED IN 1959, THE MASSIVE MURRAY PADDLE WILL THIS YEAR CELEBRATE ITS 54TH EDITION, PASSING THROUGH ECHUCA-MOAMA ALONG THE WAY.
After a number of disruptions in the past few years due to COVID and floods, the MMP is set to return to its November timeslot, with five gruelling days of paddling from November 20 to 24.
The race is also set to debut along it’s new route, which will see competitors make the 415 km trek from the starting line in Yarrawonga to a new finish location in Koondrook.
While the event is competitive, there is a large emphasis on fundraising, with entrants free to choose whichever organisation they wish to donate to.
“Over the last six years we’ve raised just short of one million dollars of contributions from all the teams, many of those have been based on local causes which is pretty good,” race organiser
Shannon O’Brien said.
“We’ve been excited about that, and it’s always really important for the teams to get involved and raise as much as they can.
“Many teams raise in excess of $20,000 to $40,000, using the event as their mechanism for fundraising. Lots and lots of paddlers, raise between $500 and $2000–3000, which is the norm.
“I think it’s a very successful fundraising initiative for different causes.”
With a large contingent of paddlers and support crew travelling in the region during the race, there is also a positive economic impact on towns such as Echuca-Moama, which Shannon said was an important consideration.
“The paddlers and the ground crew that support the event, everybody is staying at the towns, and normally there’s a couple of nights per area that we stay,” he said.
“The economic spend from the event is quite substantial, we might only be a five-day race, but generally that turns into about seven days of people travelling in the area.
“People from the race become fantastic ambassadors for paddling in the Murray region.
“Paddle tourism or kayak tourism is a big deal, and it will bring a lot more benefit financially to the restaurants, hotels, motels and campgrounds all the way along the river.”

Melbourne Cup Day bonanza
Echuca | November
46 What’s On
MELBOURNE CUP DAY REMAINS THE BIGGEST MEETING ON THE ECHUCA RACING CLUB CALENDAR.
A crowd of about 3000 people will be in attendance at Echuca Racecourse on the first Tuesday in November.
ERC manager Garry Armstrong said the day, sponsored by the Moama Bowling Club, featured a strong local presence, as many took the chance to enjoy the race that stops the nation.
“It is traditionally our biggest meeting of the year, just ahead of the Echuca Cup in March,” he said. “The difference between the two days in the crowds is that we get a lot more people from across the region, there is that local flavour to it.
“We see people from Tongala, Kyabram and Rochester, as well as Echuca and Moama.”
Echuca is one of only six Victorian centres to host a meeting on Melbourne Cup Day, which falls on Tuesday, November 7.
Flemington, Mansfield, Mildura, Bairnsdale and Wangaratta are the other racecourses to host a meeting.
Garry is hoping that 2023 represents a return “to normality” after two years plagued by COVID-19 and last year’s meeting impacted by the region’s flood situation.
“It would be good to have a bit of luck,” Garry said. “Last year we had our Stronger Together Race Day, but the weather was just terrible.
“Hopefully we can have a normal type of year, similar to what we had in 2018 or 2019.”
The racing action is highlighted by the other 3200 m contest in Victoria on Melbourne Cup Day. It doubles as a heat of the Jericho Cup, run at Warrnambool each December, and was last year won by Fast Foils.
Garry said the ERC would have a number of marquee packages available to patrons from early September.
“I encourage anyone thinking of coming on Melbourne Cup Day, to visit country.racing.com/ echuca for the latest information,” he said.
“We’ll have all the details, especially for the marquees and dining packages, on the website.”
The club will run a series of free buses to and from locations across the twin towns on Melbourne Cup Day.

Beehag 100 set to race new route
DECEMBER WILL SEE A NEW TAKE ON A FAMILIAR FAVOURITE, WITH THE BEEHAG 100 SKI RACE DEBUTING A NEW ROUTE ON THE MURRAY.
Formerly named the Barrie Beehag Ski Race, in memory of the long-time Echuca resident and Moama Water Sports Club founding member and former director, the race will be lengthened from it’s original 60 km route.
“We’ve changed the event from what it was to a new event running this year,” Moama Water Sports Club president Steve Shipp said.
“The Beehag 100 will run from Torrumbarry Weir to Wills Bend, and then back to Torrumbarry Weir, so it will be a 100 km race.
“We’re expecting quite a lot of entries, the interest we’ve got from people already is just fantastic.
“We haven’t run it before, we’ve sort of missed the last couple years because of COVID and obviously the floods last year, so we are hot to trot to run it this year on December 9.”
The race will also provide a more relaxed feel than the famed Southern 80, according to Steve, with the race being run outside of Echuca’s centre.
“It will be great to be out on the river to watch it, there’s always some good viewing spots down that end of the river,” Steve said.
“Running it from Torrumbarry to Wills and back, we’re not in Echuca itself, we’re away from the limelight as far as everyone wanting to be involved and whatever, so it will be a more peaceful, relaxed race.
“We believe once we run the first year and everyone hears about it, it will be a definite on everyone’s calendar, and we’ll have a race that can be a challenger to the Southern 80.”

Get to know native flowers
MANY PEOPLE, WITH MANY GARDENS, ARE GROWING NATIVE FLOWERS IN ECHUCA.
To celebrate this the Australian Plants Society, Echuca is holding its annual native flower showcase.
“The showcase is an event where we display plants and flowers that have grown in our gardens, from our members’ gardens,” Australian Plants Society Echuca president Sue Robertson said.
“Last year we had over 300 different specimens, there were 300 different flowers of all sorts of different native plants that you can grow in the area.” A member of the chapter will have a display of their paintings of native flowers.
“We are hoping to have someone doing basket weaving, she was there last year and she does a magnificent job,” Sue said.
“We have a display of grassland grasses and a few plants and flowers that grow in the grasslands, out towards Mt Terrick.
“When you have native flowers in the garden, it attracts native bees, which are good pollinators for all different types of plants.
“It is really important to grow our native plants for our wildlife and habitat for things like frogs and lizards. “We would like people to come along to see what is able to be grown in the gardens and encourage people to grow native plants.”
Entry to the showcase is $5 which includes a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit.
There will be four nurseries in attendance, if you need to take plants home.
Australian Plants Society, Echuca Moama Native Flower showcase, will be held at Echuca Masonic Lodge, 426 High St, Echuca on Saturday, October 7 from 9am to 4pm.

A progressive festival, Pop and Pour takes you on a food and drink journey to up to eight of the Perricoota region’s best food, drink and wine offerings.
Echuca-Moama Events director Jacqui Wegener knows the festival is a happy, vibrant, colourful and energetic day for everyone.
“On the day, each venue has two live music acts, and showcases local wines, and if they are not a winery themselves, they showcase other wineries from the region,” Jacqui said.
“We have got the distillery and a couple of breweries as well, so they are all showcased at each venue.
“All of the venues have festival bites as well, so it might be something like pizza, tacos, cheese plates or burgers.
“It is a real variety and we try to keep it so each of the venues has a different menu and you have a bit of variety all around the place.
“All day, buses keep moving from venue to venue to venue, so that people can jump on and off at any venue they like.
“It is a choose your own adventure festival on wheels.”
Starting at either the American Hotel or the Border Inn, you will travel between Echuca and Moama, tasting the delights of each venue.
For this year’s Pop and Pour, the buses are going to run in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions.
“Giving our ticket holders more flexibility on how they, or which order they get around to each of the venues,” Jacqui said.
“There might be an artist at ‘Three Black Sheep’ that’s kicking off at 12, and then they want to get to the ‘River’ for the second artist and the afternoon there.
“Instead of going all the way around the trail, they will be able to use the bus to flick immediately backwards.”
Tickets include all bus transfers, a good quality KeepCup to use at each venue and all the entertainment on the day.

Upbeat Cash show on again
GET RHYTHM - THE JOHNNY CASH AND JUNE CARTER SHOW IS RETURNING TO ECHUCA FOR ONE NIGHT.
“The show is obviously attributed to Johnny Cash and June Carter,” Joanne Caligiuri said, who plays June in the show.
“Our show, we keep it pretty authentic,” she said.
“The first thing about it that is quite interesting is it is purely family.
“My husband and I do, John and June and my husband’s boys are in the band and his cousin, so it is all in the family.
“We kept the traditional sound of Johnny Cash’s music and it is a lot of fun.”
Focusing on the earlier recordings of the superstar couple the music is upbeat, positive and toe tapping.
“We have been doing Johnny Cash and June Carter for 15 years, a long time,” Joanne said.
“But this particular show, the Get Rhythm show, started about two years ago.
“We made it a little bit bigger, a bit more spectacular, we added to it a lot.
“We get a lot of people who are huge Cash fans, grew up with him and they know all the words.
“We did a street performance, just for a bit of fun and I was amazed by how many young kids, teenagers that were actually singing along through everything.
“We get a lot of the younger generation, getting involved, knowing the music really well.
“We keep everything very fun, light and exciting,” she said.

Yee hah, get to the ute muster
THE DENI UTE MUSTER IS ONE OF THE TOP ‘BUCKET LIST’ EVENTS IN AUSTRALIA.
The annual event attracts 20,000 people of all ages to celebrate all things Australian and, of course, the iconic ‘ute’.
The most important part of the muster is the humble ute, with the ute of the year show ‘n shine open to all makes and models of this iconic vehicle.
Over the weekend every ute that passes through the gates, will be counted in the ute count, with the muster hoping to break the record of 9736 utes all in one place.
That is not the only record you will be able to help break, as you can also be part of the blue singlet count.
Head over to the main stage on Saturday at 1 pm, wearing your ‘Bluey’, collect your sticker to be part of the official count.
The record to break is 4136 people wearing blueys all at the same time, in the same place.
Returning for 2023 are the hugely popular driving competitions with supercharged utes competing in circlework, barrel races and Go to Wo competitions.
It’s not all utes at the muster, with the around-theground entertainment in overdrive with something for everyone’s taste.
Aussie legends gracing the main stage this year are: Adam Harvey and Beccy Cole, Andrew Swift, Casey Barnes, Catherine Britt, James Johnston, Jayne Denham, Jessica Mauboy, John Williamson, Lee Kernaghan, Missy Higgins, The Whitlams Black Stump Band, Travis Collins and Zara Lindeman. There will be plenty for the kids as well including monster truck rides, venomous snakes, ferret racing, circus dropzone, taking a twirl on the synthetic ice rink, helping build a LEGO masterpiece or taking on the parents to see who is the fastest driver in the family.
There is so much more on offer, with this only a roundup of all there is to see and do at the 2023 Deni Ute Muster which will be held on Friday, September 29 and Saturday, September 30.
