There’s a bustling entertainment schedule over the coming months, which will include healer and medium Simon Hay, who will feature at the Deni RSL on June 9.

Music lovers will want to put a circle around June 24 and July 1.

Performing for members and guests in June will be Brendan Britt, and on July 1 Ellie Drake will bring her 1990s inspired indie rock sound to the club. Plus there will be a range of other musical performers over the cooler months. Below we outline some of the artists performing this winter.

For those who love a cheeky win, plan your visits to the club to coincide with the regular raffles and draws.

There is also bingo every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. If general knowledge is more up your alley, head along to trivia night each Tuesday.

A visit to the bar for a refreshing drink is inevitable during your visit to the club, but make sure to sample the delicious meals and desserts while you’re there too. The Deniliquin RSL offers an amazing selection of food for its guests. A new Brasserie restaurant menu has been released in time for winter, filled with delicious options from classic burgers to pasta dishes and Asian cuisine.

For coffee lovers, the RSL has its own coffee shop that offers a happy hour for members from 3pm to 4pm on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Mick Tenace

A solo entertainer who has played many venues and multicultural events, Mick is an accomplished singer and entertainer and thrives off entertaining a crowd. But he doesn’t just sing at them, he makes it a more interesting show for the audience, and one they can really get involved with. Mick plays a mixture of rock ‘n’ roll, ‘60s, ‘70s and country. Covering all of your favourite classic hits, you are guaranteed a fantastic night of entertainment.

Brendan Britt

Brendan has been entertaining audiences for many years. The experience gained as lead singer in many bands throughout the ball and dinner dance era, regular television appearances on tonight shows and telethons, performing on cruise ships, compère and entertainer for a variety of functions speaks for itself, now with his very own brand of solo shows.

Elise Drake

Elise Drake is an indie rock singer-songwriter living in Barapa Barapa country in regional Victoria.

Elise’s debut single “Cellphone” is an explosive foray into the deep and dark corners of the social media world in which we intertwine our lives.

Raised on a steady diet of Australian alternative bands, Elise’s music incorporates the darker sounds of the 90’s indie rock movement and combines them with sweet, harmony-laden pop hooks.

Georgina Bish

Georgina Bish is a well-known local musician in Echuca/ Moama. Georgina specialises in pop, r&b, soul ballads and musical theatre genres.

Anthony Tenace

Anthony is an entertainer from Victoria and his style ranges from country, rock ‘n’ roll, some 80s and 90s classics and he’s known to throw in some acoustic songs as well. Crowd participation and involvement is one of the keys of his performance. Anthony has just found his love of song writing and recently received second place in the Tamworth song writers’ awards.

Acoustic Box Duo

Acoustic Box Duo comprises of Chris Hauselberger (Vocals) and Simon Gilmore (Guitar), with what has been a musical evolution of over twenty years. Their friendship started in high school from the love of music and live performances. They have performed with a number of different bands with varying styles including Pop, Rock, Blues and Country; this diversity has allowed them to cater for everyone’s taste in music.

Simon Ward

Simon has been in the entertainment industry for over 25 years. Band, duo or solo work, he has covered all the classic pub rock hits from yesterday to today. Simon will guarantee to get the party on the dance floor.
