The initial approach was to interpret the idea of ‘bridge’ & ‘overhead crossing’ and have a functional approach to understand the basic purpose of the project. From this exercise, the size of the project could be imagined and the key elements such as the need of a shelter, the need of elevators and how to promote the idea of ‘design for all’ surfaced.
