THE MUSEUM OF SACRED ART The museum shows the history, worship and devotions of the main church of Puerto de la Cruz, founded in the early 17th century. The monument is a reflection of the existence of the town from its earliest origins to the arts of the recent centuries.

MACEW is one of the oldest in Spain, opened on 28th of March 1953 .It exposes a lot of valuable works by important artists like Juan Ismael, Oscar Dominguez, Wil Faber and many more. The museum is located in an old mansion supplied with a lot of intriguing collections of aboriginal ceramics used by the Guanches. The exhibition consists of a variety of maps from the 17th century, weapons and wood speci-mens from the countryside of the Islands.
