X™ knot
2006
Ever since the conception of the X™ knot in 2006, the X™ fence® brand has been proven worldwide. This premium wire netting offers great advantages in simple erection, strength and longevity. The smooth, unobtrusive, cold-forged X™ knot joint and one piece vertical wires provide a long lasting, binding joint. X™ fence® leads the way for ease and speed of construction, out-performing other types of fencing. X™ fence® mesh patterns have the capability to fence in livestock, horses, game animals, camelid, beavers and poultry, whilst also keeping out badgers, boar, otters and deer. It is also a strong intruder defence. Whatever your requirements, X™ fence® provides a powerful, effective, secure barrier.
X™ fence® Benefits
Manufactured from highest quality primary metals only, which guarantee consistent tensile strength every time. 95% Zinc 5% Aluminium coating (known as XTRALIFE) lasts 2-3 times longer than standard galvanised wire. 24% stronger knot joint. 450mm pre-stripped both ends for ease of tying off. Great savings can be made in labour and erection time. This offers you savings over the life of the wire, that outweigh the cheaper brands. The extra benefits of Alu/Zinc XTRALIFE coated wire are that it is more ductile and more resistant to fatigue. All this and superior corrosion resistance too. Jumbo rolls available 200m, 300m and 500m in certain mesh patterns. Tension curves absorb any pressure put on the fence whilst also providing a visual aid to erection. They also allow the fence to react to climatic conditions, reducing stress to joints and fixings. One piece vertical section makes for easier, almost self supporting erection. Manufactured with a Alu/Zinc coating exceeding BS EN 10223-5
Predator
Predator X™ fence®
What is Predator X™ fence® ?
Predator X™ fence® is the name given to any X™ fence® product with a four wrap hinge within its construction, allowing for an apron fold either at the top or bottom. The hinge allows the fence to have an apron fold either at the top or bottom of the fence, which will act as a defence to burrowing or climbing predators. The benefit of this type of fence is that there is no compromise in its overall strength and appearance. Also erection becomes a lot easier with a saving in both time and labour as there is no need for two separate fences to be erected and joined together. Erecting the fence to the correct tension becomes easier with the two-piece netting, as the vertical section can be strained up allowing the apron section to simply unfold. Prevent, exclude and contain · Otter predation · Protection of fisheries · Re-direct badgers · Exclude foxes · Protect highways · Contain wild animals Predator X™ fence® has the answer. We are able to create a range of mesh patterns, heights and designs to suit a number of applications. Already successful are our badger, poultry and otter predator range. If you have a specific requirement why not discuss with our knowledgeable team. Spot your predator!

Boar
Why Predator Boar X™ fence®? After an absence of three hundred years wild boar are now roaming freely in parts of the UK and breeding successfully. This high tensile wire has the strength to both contain captive boar and exclude feral. Predator Boar X™ fence® can be used for the following: Prevent feral boar from crossing thoroughfares such as roads and railways. • Keep farmed and captive boar contained. • Prevent male boar from contact with outdoor domestic and rare breed pigs. Wild boar can be destructive and capable of breaching stock, rabbit, deer and game pen fences. Causing a risk of predation to game and poultry, whilst also decimating crops. A specialised fencing is required to control these animals and with this in mind Predator Boar X™ fence® has been designed. The tensile strength of the wire along with the fixed X™ knot prevent the boar from destroying the fence and gaining entry.
A taller boar fencing can be made to order for highways. Please contact our trade department on 0845 120 7755 for more details.
