• Body part- structure, functions, role & corelation in food digestion, assimilation, metabolism of all nutrients.
Anatomy & Physiology Nutrition
• Nutrition & Nutrients - functions, sources, deficiencies, toxicity, modes of energy expenditure , benefits of flavors and colors in fruits & vegetables
Food Science
• Food groups like cereals, pulses, fruits & vegetables, flesh foods, preservatives , milk products, fats & oils , sugar & condiments , details of food labeling

• Diet planning for conditions like arthritis, cardio-vascular disorder, diabetes, gout, febrile disorders, renal disorders, liver disorders, obesity etc
