HISTORY David Francisco Zapata Cornelio Once upon a time a girl named Xochitl, a girl who was close to the American border and wanted to cross it, she wore old clothes and she was carrying a little backpack. Xochitl started to go to the frontier and picked up her backpack where she carried her most precious treasure that was her son's picture. She was very optimistic and she was just thinking in met her husband at the U.S., and work to sustain her son and give him all the things she didn't have. She was trying to cross the border as a "mojada" because she was poor and need to work for money. She was crossing the U.S. border through the Rio Bravo and she was trying to not get caught by the patrol. She avoided the first border patrol and ran like crazy holding really hard her little backpack. While she was running she dropped her backpack and she went back to pick it up. When she was picking up her backpack, one of the border patrol officers arrested her and took her to the commissary. After all of her adventure, she got deported and after that she went back home and raised her son. After doing all of the things she did, she became more responsible and smart, because being close to the dead made her more mature. Nowadays that she's a grown woman, she raised her child as a great man and also she give advice to the young people that wants to cross the border. Thu Jan 26, 2006
HISTORY Luis Gabriel Moguel Garrido In 1986 a boy was watching TV in his room. when he changed the channel the TV turned off and a monster appeared. The boy started acting like a crazy man, he was so scared. He screamed a lot but nobody heard him. The boy ran away and the monster followed him. The boy felt down and he got inside the TV. He felt in a strange world inside the TV. The boy stopped to think about what can he do. He wanted to explore the new world. He discovered new things in this world, he was completely surprised. He decided to stay in this wonderful world

STORY Eduardo Farrera Montoya This morning a strange man in the bank was holding a box. He threw away the box into the cashier's desk. He realized that the alarm had been activated and he started acting crazy. He started screaming because he wanted all the money and he was going to get it. He took the cash man and made him put the money in a bag. He took from his coat a detonator for the bomb in the box. He noticed people were to quiet and suddenly he heard a noise in the back. It was a TV and he kept watching for a while. After that, he wanted to escape and he would do anything to get it. He thought about it and he decided take the cash man with him. And hour after he had escaped but he felt terrible about the cash-man and he decided release him.

STORY Miguel Angel Mu単oz Luna 100 years ago, a mysterious man, in a small town was holding a scythe. He used the scythe to kill old people. He enjoyed using it, his eyes grown like big eggs and he seemed satisfied. He was excited and he proposed to kill many people. He started killing old people who were walking at the night. He hit his victims twice with his scythe. He tasted the blood that dripped from the scythe. He saw a child crying beside his grandfather - did he want to continue killing people? So, he started adopting orphan kids He understood the beautiful of the life and the value of the human beings He became the most loved person in the town and was the best friend for all the little kids.

UNTITLED María Valeria García Maza Once upon a time a gorgeous woman living in a palace with her lonely soul was doing plaits in her hair. While she was doing plaits in her hair, she noticed that she was losing hair. She entered in shock and started to cry and seems worried. She remembered that she knew a wizard, so she decided to visit him. When she arrived to his cottage, she told him about the problem. The wizard told her that se had to go to the hair style. She was very worried; she took her hair and started to touch it. In a minute she stopped to think about it because she knew that the wizard’s advice was the best choice. She decided to cut her hair and then buy detachable hair. The wizard told to the sadly but gorgeous woman that she had to see the good part of the problem. He said: It will be worse if you don’t cut your hair. ENGLISH STORY Germán Madrigal Vera Once upon a time ah unhappy and homeless guy named Chuck was on the U.S boarder and he had a gun. He was trying to get to the U.S but he was aware of the boarder patrol holding his gun. He didn’t see anybody, but because he thought he was being observed he shot his gun. Chuck realized he had issues because he was desperate to get to the U.S. In spite of having his issues, Chuck moved on and started to cross the boarder. He was about to cross the boarder when the boarder patrol saw him, so Chuck took his gun and started to shoot the police. Then Chuck dropped his gun because he had seen blood coming out from one of the boarder patrol’s head. After Chuck had dropped his gun, he thought “Oh my God, I’m going to jail, should I kill the others? Should I run far away from here? Chuck decided not to cross the boarder. He thought he had done something bad. Then he started to cry because he shouldn’t have had the idea to cross the boarder to live the American dream.

A TEDDY BEAR HISTORY Ignacio Lezama Zavariz 1- Once upon a time a girl was playing in her house with her teddy bear, 2-then the beautiful teddy bear just like that started talking to her. 3-She was really surprised and thought that it was a devil thing, 4-so she got really scared and tried to keep her teddy bear away. 5-She started take it with gloves because it started looked dangerous, then she opened the basement. 6-The teddy bear started talking about a wonderful land full of candies, chocolates, sugar and an island in the sun. 7-So the little girl calmed down and listened to the teddy bear. 8-She stopped to think about the history and she really desired to go there. She was really exited and said:9- Let’s go there I want to dance in the sugar, eat a lot of chocolate and meet all your puppy friends. 10-Once there the little girl was so happy she walk away on the sugar fields and talk with so many creatures but something was no right because it looks like all the other creatures fear the teddy bear. When the girl was tired decided to go bed and to her house but that was impossible because the teddy bear sent a curse to her soul. 11-When she ear that was so sad and tried to kill the teddy bear because she will never see her family again. MY HISTORY Fabián Pérez Zambrano Since last winter. A friendly big blue monster, has been in my mind with a terrible big present. This monster had been showing me the terrible big present until yesterday. when I tried looking inside it, he started acting so crazy. His reaction was stupid and I couldn’t Stop Him. I took his arm at the moment to try and stop him. I returned him the present after he had had the stupid reaction. When he saw the present, he was happy. If I hadn't seen the present, he Wouldn't have had the stupid reaction. After this situation he told me that he had had a big problem with the present that he gave me, but now he want to give a car. I think that he thought about the problem and he going to want to chance with me. I accept the new present and for other occasion, I won’t be person with him.

The ball the thing it liked the most. It was a very nice cat because it used to play with everybody. One day somebody took its ball and the cat got angry with everybody. STORY Irene del Carmen Jiménez González Once upon a time there was a beautiful girl named Sophia, holding a letter in a castle. She was trying to read the letter in her room. But she realized that she did not know how to read, but she seemed to be in love. She really wants to know what the letter was about so she asked her nanny for help to learn how to read. Everyday she studied very hard because she hoped the letter said something about her love. One day she was looking for the letter, she found out that the letter was gone. Later on she started to smell like something was burning and she saw that it was her letter. She thought. Should I take it out or not? She finally decided to try to take the letter out of the flames. But when she took the letter out of the flames it was too burn to see what was the letter about. After a while thinking about all the things that happened to her. She understood that if her love had written the letter he will come again to talk with her.

MICRO-FICTION Cielo Zu-lym Puón Díaz Frequently in the library an intelligent man carries a coat. He often puts the coat in a chair. He likes to put his things in order before starts reading because he is a passionate reader an he wants to concentrate. He is looking for the book that he chose one week ago, but he realizes that the book isn’t there. He is angry and tells the library man that his book isn’t there. The library man knows that he lent the book to someone else but he is very scared because the intelligent man is very furious. The library man does nothing and the man return to his place and throw the coat because he is really up set. The man stops and thinks that if is a good idea to picks up his coat and leave the library for a while or wait until someone appears with the book. Suddenly a beautiful woman appears with THE BOOK. He stands up very quickly and goes to her for obtains his book. But he is so mad that only act without thinks and when he realize he already is in front the beautiful woman. The beautiful woman turn to see the intelligent man and smile, then the woman says “do you want this book?” and the man also smile and says “Yes, but if you want to read it, I can wait.” Thu Jan 26, 2006
CANCUN Fidel Alvarez Toledo The last summer I went to Cancun because of my graduation’s travel. I carried a lot of money with me. I thought I was going to spend the money as fast as I could. I don’t remember how much money I had but I felt very happy for that. I started spending the money but I didn’t find things I really liked. I went to all the stores I could but I didn’t find what I was looking for. It was the third day of my travel and I hadn’t spent it. I started getting desperate and angry. I thought I had to spend the money in something. I went to a new store and I bought everything I could. I felt very happy with that. I came back to Tuxtla very happy.

STORY Octavio GutiĂŠrrez Oliva Last vacation a crazy-looking woman at the mall was holding a bunch of globe yellow grapes. She was eating them and she offered them to me. She seemed to be enjoying them I saw inside her open mouth and it was like rubbish inside it. When I looked her and then away she threw me a grape pointing it at my mouth but it was closed. She walked closer but I walked to a shop. She kept them in her handbag and followed me into the shop. I touched my pocket and I felt a grape, I took it out and smelled it, it was like candy. I looked at her and she stopped thinking what to do. I saw her walking to other guy and offered a globe yellow grape. He just laughed and threw the grape. HISTORY Geraldine Geraldine Meza Toledo Last weekend a child from Tuxtla, had a ball. The child kicked the ball and the ball fell into well. The child ran to the well so fast. The child jumped to the well to take the ball but he fell down. The child was shouting his mother "help me", "help me". The child took the ball to float in the well. The child smiled that the well had a rotten body animal. The child thought: "I wouldn't go to pick up the ball, I should my mother before". The child said that he will get out the well as fast as he could. The child said: "I wouldn't do risk things again before a permission" The child could get out thee well and Now, he knows that he should take more care of himself.

STORY Iván Artemio Morales Estrada Last summer Sam a genius boy was arming a robot in his school He built the legs robot in the laboratory that was the only part to complete it He was enthusiastic to prove it so he turned on the robot But it didn’t walk and he must finish the robot as a final project exam, so he change a circuit robot All night he was rebuilding the robot in order to get the robot walk. In the morning he test the robot and a circuit robot exploded. Immediately he saw it and a leg robot was a affected. He thought “I was building the robot since a month ago” so he asked himself what should he do So he decided to disarm the robot to invent new one as fast as he can in just 3 hours He thought about the Thomas Alba Edison inventions and all that he did. He thought that he was a lucky boy because he was smart. Few minutes later the robot turned on, he couldn’t explain how it happen.

SHORT STORY Gabriela ZacarĂas Aguirre Yesterday a mysterious boy at Tec de Monterrey was carrying a little black box. The mysterious boy noticed that from the box came a strange annoying sound. He was very upset because the noise was getting louder and he looked like he was going to explode. He decided to destroy the box because the noise was driving him crazy He started to look for an artifact to break the box and he found an axe in the storage room. The mysterious boy broke the box and the noise stopped, but a bright light came out of the broken box. He instantly closed his eyes because the light was affecting his sight. The mysterious boy remained with his eyes closed and thought about whether he should run away or stay there and find out what was in the box. He decided to put on his sunglasses and he tried to find out what was in the black box. When he found out that the box has been completely destroyed, he realized that the black box would always be a mystery. He walked away and tried to forget the incident, but the black box would always remain in his mind.

THE LESSON Graciela García Rentería This morning, my black neighbor was in the street with a knife in his hands. He threw it at a guy, but it didn’t get stock on him. My neighbor felt tough and seemed to be very angry. He would make him apologize for hurting his sister. So he made him go with his sister and apologize. He threw the knife away. He didn’t want to hurt him anymore and the knife was so sharp. So he kind of stopped what he was doing for a while and thought about what was he doing, and what was he going to do to this guy ("Should I just let him go?.. he thought..) He decided to let him go, but leaving him a lesson. But then, he reflected and thought about the situation and how it was going to end; also about what kind of lesson should make him learn about not doing again what he did. Then, his emotions were kind of confused; he thought that this guy maybe had already gotten a lesson...

STORY Enrique Torres Batiz Serrano Last week my cousin from Veracruz had an ATV as Christmas gift, My cousin took his brand new raptor to ride the sand dunes at Anton Lizardo beach, He seemed very excited about jumping in the sand dunes but he felt a bit uncomfortable because of the hard sun, While he was riding he decided to go on top , of the highest sand dune in the whole beach, He started speeding, He even reached 90 km/h and start climbing up the sand dune, Suddenly the ATV turned off My cousin my cousin was very scared, because he could fall of the sand dune and he might die, He saw a tree branch and reach for it for him to hold from there, He couldn’t find the raptor and he was very scared because his father, he'll punish him, when he found the ATV under the sand, an took it an thought if I keep going I might die, if I don’t I’ll never know what’s on top, so he came down a little bit and started speeding up he even reached 110 km/h, and after riding for a while he got until the sand dune’s highest top. She decides to win the match because she was sad. She moves toward the basket to score. She throws the basketball to score. She hears how the ball is touching the basket. Closes her eyes hoping that the ball gets in and finally opens her eyes and sees she didn’t make it. She decides that in the next match she is going to score 2 points instead of one. She remembers all her moves thinking what was her mistake. She feels really proud and disappointed because she failed.

HISTORY Leticia Barrios Herrera Yesterday my uncle went to the park with a radio. He danced with the radio. He was so excited and his body started to sweat. He was so thirsty that he decided to buy some water. He bought finally the water. When he finished drinking water, he took his radio and started to walk. His sight help him to saw the road until he was walking. While he was walking he started to think about going to buy more water or wait until arrived home and prepared a delicious lemonade. So he thought and finally decided to go home and made his own lemonade and save that money for other thing more important. When he arrived home he made the most delicious lemonade of the world and kept the money for bought some books for his work. That was a very responsible decision.

MY STORY Laura García Trejo Last summer a boy was in a forest with an axe in his hand. The boy used his lamp in the middle of the night. He was very sad, suddenly he felt his heart was beating very quickly. He was scared, because he hadn’t felt this before with a girl. The boy came closer to the girl, walking very slowly. The lamp started failing, he couldn’t see anything. He saw that it didn’t have more battery. He thought that if he didn’t hurry up looking for more batteries, the girl could escape. Quickly, he checked his pockets, then he found the batteries. When he turned on the lamp, the girl was gone. Again, as the beginning, he felt sad, guilty because he wanted to meet that girl.

She had black hair and a lovely blue swimming suit. She was surprised and decided to recover her ball. Slowly, she entered the water and grabbed her ball. STORY AndrĂŠs Eduardo Arias Pastrana In February 2005 Nacho Casillas went to the Sumidero canyon in a boat to make an investigation. Nacho was charmed with the idea that he would know that important canyon, and could register a lot of unknown details. He was a good boy. He was around 18 years old. He used to had good grades. His task was to document the Sumidero canyon to that incredible investigation, the investigation was taking place on the Sumidero duck, because it will need some help, so he prepared very well, he went up to the Sumidero Canyon and started at last the investigation (it was taking place for 1 year), he was amazed at the huge canyon, he surprised of everything that was there, he start seeing suddenly all the garbage, he proposed to a near future to clean this incredible place, he thought that the people that are living around must have like a water department in every town, so he started a whole new idea, all the time that he would stay in the canyon and see people throwing garbage should go to the jail, so he is very famous now.

THE WIZARD AND HIS MAGIC STICK Esteban Cancino Rovelo Once upon a time, there was a wizard living in the holy forest of Chipirilandia. He was famous because of his magic stick. One night he went out of the forest to make spells to someone with his powerful magic stick. He found an old street dog and he thought that no one would possibly miss that dog, so he throw a thunder from his magic stick and the dog start to scream of pain!!! The wizard was like happy and sad at the same time and he realized that he never could accept a punishment like that one, so he used his magic stick to heal the dog. Since that day, the wizard is always doing good stuff with his magic stick.

MICRO-FICTION Tania Espiñeira y Rivera Once upon a time on a wonderful place called Far Far Away there a little princess in castle lived, holding her magic stick everywhere she went. She liked to convert everything into other forms. One day she went to the pond and occasionally she converted a little frog into a beautiful charming prince. The princess was very happy, because now she had her prince, but she wanted something more. Now she started thinking of building a new castle, because she wanted to live with her prince, and she felt her prince was missing something else. She just said the charm and in two seconds a marvelous castle appeared, it was perfect, Then she pointed her magic stick towards the prince and she dressed him as a king. She touched her magic stick again and took her imagination beyond, she called him PJ. The princess thought that the magic stick was the best invention in the world. When she finished the castle a terrible disaster happened, the evil Dragon came and he blew and blew the castle until it disappeared. THE MAN LOOKING FOR WATER María Bermúdez Sáyago Last week my neighbor was at my house with a bucket. He took it and asked me for water. He seemed really tired and dirty. He had been looking for water for a long time. He thought I would give him some water. He had already walked over kilometers looking for the well he had heard about. So he decided that was better to take the bucket and come to my house. At the time he was at my house he notice the bucket was broken, he was really sad. He decides to stop looking for water with the bucket and he went to the nearest river. He learned nature gives always the principal needs and also that water should be care like as a treasure.

THE WARRIOR José Alfredo Aguilar López Long ago a fierce warrior, named Maximus was traveling with the sharpest sword in the whole world. He was searching the greatest warrior to fight him with his sword. When night came, he got very tired and because he was so smart and strong he built himself a small tent to sleep. The so called "greatest warrior" knew that Maximus was coming to get him so he sent some of his men to kill Maximus while he was sleeping. Maximus killed the men the other warrior had sent and resumed his journey to find the "greatest warrior". When Maximus finally found him, steel crashed, the warriors where engaged in a battle to dead. Maximus, with great skills managed to cut his opponent in half, because his sword was so sharp he didn’t had any problem. When the battle was over Maximus knew he now was the greatest warrior in the world. Since that moment he swore he would only fight to make this world a better place. He saw the girl next tome and thought taking her to dance. He started laughing at me. He danced all night with the other girl.

THE SHRIMP BOY Rafael Zarazúa Ojeda Last summer, a boy was on a beach eating shrimps. Jose Magdaleno was that boy, and he liked a lot that food, so he bought a lot and ate them. It’s a very intelligent boy, but he liked to eat a lot, over all seafood. After he ate one ton of shrimp, he fell asleep. While he was sleeping, his belly started to grow, and grow. When he woke up, his belly was extremely big and keep growing. He screamed when he saw his belly at the border of exploding. Magdaleno freaked out and tired to buy products to lose weight, but he can’t reduce his belly. Finally after one day, his belly exploded, and the shrimps returned to the sea. Magdaleno died but his shrimps returned to the sea and lived happily ever.

MICRO FICTION Juan Lozano Lozano Grajales Yesterday a guy bumped into my car. The boy was talking on the phone and because he was distracted he didn’t saw my vehicle coming. The boy even that is skinny has a very good resistance to pain that’s why now he isn’t in the hospital. The boy is going to pay me for the damages and he helped me with everything. He says that he is planning to take some driving lessons. Tomorrow I’m going to take him to the place where I learned how to drive. The boy is driving a car but he is getting confused with the pedals because he isn’t used to drive a manual vehicle. The boy pressed the wrong pedal when he had to stop and then he almost hit another car but he had time to press the stop pedal. The driving lessons finished for the boy and he started to realize that he should take more care of his health, so he is going to drive a bicycle instead of a car. The boy is planning to drive a bicycle for a long time and when he gets experience he will start driving a motorcycle. The boy realized that driving vehicles with engines is very dangerous for everyone and mostly for people with very little experience like him. The boy started to drive the bicycle, but he will never forget what he learned in the driving lessons.
