ou are truly my other half. I never thought that I would find someone who complimented me as well as you do. On paper we are two completely different people; you being the artistic, laid-back one, me being the organized, engineery one. Yet, I still find myself amazed at how often we have the same weird thought or try to crack the same dumb joke at the same time. Or how we never have to argue about what to do on any given day because we love to do the same things. Although we have gone through some tough and very stressful situations in the last year, our relationship has never wavered, and being with you has always been so easy and right. There are so many things I love about you. I love your eyes. I love your smile. I love your humor. I love your spirit. I love the way you care about me. I love the adventurous side you bring out in me. There are also many things I love about us. I love the fact that we never have awkward silences, because one of us will always make a face to make the other laugh. I love that we explore new places together. I love that we chest bump every time we finish a trail run. I love who we are as a team. I couldn’t be more excited to spend the rest of my life with you. I knew within the first few weeks of dating that this day would come, and I’m so glad that it is finally here. ack in the spring of 2011, when I first learned I was going to be moving to California for a new job, I was very excited about the potential it represented. Having the chance to travel, ski, shoot photos, and do creative work while getting paid for it seemed like a dream job for me. I remember while driving south thinking that I had a pretty good idea of what all these new adventures that awaited me in America would be like. However, little did I know that the most important thing that would happen to me would actually have absolutely nothing to do with work. That the decision to move down would be the first step on a journey that would ultimately lead me to meet you: my best friend, partner in life, and my one true love. Right away, I knew things were different with you. Spending time with you felt so comfortable and natural… it's almost as if we already knew each other. We just fit together so well, no matter what we decided to do. I knew that what we had was something truly special when I was on assignment in some amazing mountains somewhere, and all I could think about was you, and how much I missed having you at my side. You are, without question, the most beautiful, smartest, funniest, and most generous person I have ever known. You constantly inspire me and every moment we share together only makes my love and adoration for you grow immensely. I feel like the luckiest man alive to be standing here in front you and our friends and family as we make these vows to each other. So today I promise to laugh with you in times of joy, and comfort you in times of sorrow.
