Restoring our backyard

Meadowridge students got their hands dirty planting various indigenous plants in a patch of newly cleared North Forest. As they planted the vine maple, false azalea, sweet gale and more the students were able to not only do the work themselves, but also learn about the different types of plants that are helpful to the area. The students were very excited to begin the planting project and to be such an integral part of the restoration of Latimer Creek and the North Forest area. For more information see page 11.
