J
essica Laurin Fairly’s grade point average of 4.719 affords her the distinction of being named valedictorian at Atlee High School. Alex Whisnant, with a 4.65 GPA, is the salutatorian. Commencement ceremonies are scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, at the Siegel Center at Virginia Commonwealth University at 1200 W. Broad St. in Richmond. The daughter of Keith and Teresa Fairly of Mechanicsville, Jessica serves as co-president of the Key Club and is a member of the National Honor Society, National Beta Club, 7th UP (7th graders Understanding Pressures to Use Drugs) and

She received the AllRegion Academic Award, All-District Academic Award and All-District Honorable Mention Team.
