MECHANICSVILLE – A community meeting to discuss a new park in eastern Hanover was well attended last week, and, according to Greg Sager, director of Hanover County Parks & Recreation, the reception to plans was positive. On Thursday, Dec. 14, 62 peo-

ple attended the meeting at Grace United Family Church on Beulah Church Road. Sager said the turnout was “packed,” with plans having been made for only 55.
