She will be attending the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Sciences to major in Biomedical Engineering and minor in Engineering Business. As for her high school experiences, Freshcorn said, “As I leave Lee-Davis, I would like to thank my teachers for their time and dedication in making a difference in my education. They taught me that learning is not just about working hard, but also having fun while doing it.” The son of Deborah and Michael Ward of Mechanicsville, Ward was a member of the Beta Club his junior and senior years. see L-DHS, pg. 4
