Bidding Procedure Every lot of memorabilia will be presented in the bidding gallery live at time of auction. The opening bid will be determined by current internet bid (based on proxy bids entered during the 7 days prior by registered online absentee bidders). Mecum provides 4 convenient ways to bid on memorabilia. LIVE ONSITE – LIVE ONLINE – PROXY – TELEPHONE

Live Onsite Bidding Any registered bidder onsite may bid on items being offered in the memorabilia arena. Anyone wishing to bid on only memorabilia may register as a “Memorabilia Only” bidder with no $100 vehicle bidder registration fee required. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required. Interested parties may register onsite at bidder registration. Live Online Bidding Anyone interested in bidding on memorabilia live online via the internet must pre-register to bid at least 72 hours prior to the start of the auction. Bidder forms must be filled out and submitted at www.mecum.com. As part of the registration process, a $5000 credit card non-charged authorization will be placed as a deposit to secure access to the bidder floor. If you intend to purchase items in excess of $5000, a 20% deposit via check or wire transfer will be required instead. Upon your registration approval, a username and password will be issued via email for login and bidding purposes. Registered online bidders will have the capability to login beginning 7 days in advance of the auction to place proxy bids (see next) on items. Proxy Bidding Proxy bids may be placed on any item being offered before the start of the memorabilia auction. As the auction process moves very quickly, placing proxy bids on items are strongly recommended to help increase your chances of winning an item. Proxy bids can be placed on the internet by registered online bidders, or onsite at the auction with a member of Mecum Auctions in the memorabilia auction arena. What is a proxy bid? By definition, a proxy is the agency, function, or power of a person authorized to act as the deputy or substitute for another. Put simply, when placing a proxy bid with Mecum, you are entering a

MEMORABILIA & RARE PARTS How to Sell Memorabilia at a Mecum Auction: bid at a price that you are willing to pay for a particular item. Incremental bids will be placed on your behalf by a member of the Mecum staff or automatically via computer for online bidders. Will my proxy bid automatically be accepted as a high bid? Absolutley not. As an example, if a proxy bid is placed on an item for $5000 and the bid is opened at $500, the proxy system/procedures in place will bid on your behalf in accordance with the set bidding increments. If the bidding ends at $3200, you will win the item at that price. If the bidding on the floor exceeds your proxy bid, you must be available to enter the live process as the bidding continues beyond your initial proxy bid to secure the item. Telephone To bid on memorabilia live as a telephone absentee bidder, you must pre-register to bid at least 72 hours prior to the start of the auction. Bidder forms must be filled out and submitted at www.mecum.com. As part of the registration process, a $5000 credit card non-charged authorization will be placed as a deposit to secure access to the bidder floor. If you intend to purchase items in excess of $5000, a 20% deposit via check or wire transfer will be required instead. Registered telephone absentee bidders must declare which items they wish to bid on at the time of registration. Shipping/Crating Services Shipping and crating services will be available onsite. Shipping prices for each item are available online within the description field for each item. Shipments to the same address for multiple items can be arranged and pricing will be quoted on a case by case basis based on overall size, weight, and contents. Purchased items must be shipped or picked up within 14 days after auction close.

Entry Fee: - $100 Entry Fee on all items consigned by an individual - Collections may qualify for special considerations (contact Mecum Rep for info) Sellers Premium 15% sellers premium for all items consigned All items will be sold at No Reserve unless indicated as otherwise by the seller. If a reserve is placed on an item, and the reserve is not met, the item will be closed as a no sale and seller will be charged 25% of the reserve price as a handling fee for bringing the item to auction by Mecum. Minimum Lot Value Suggested minimum value for all lots consigned will be $100. Multiple items may be grouped together into one lot as to equal the minimum lot value. Examples: 1 item valued at $100 will be accepted as one lot 10 items valued at $10 per item will be accepted as 1 lot Minimum Lot Value Accepted Suggested minimum lot value accepted will be $100. If no bid is placed with the suggested minimum bid of $100, Mecum reserves the right to close the bidding on the item and combine with the next lot when necessary.
