Sandy has performed lead roles in many plays & musicals such as Oliver, Chicago, Les Miserables, Return to the Forbidden Planet, Man of La Mancha, The Secret Garden, Sweeney Todd, Richard III, Cosi, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Pirates of Penzance, Rock of Ages, Annie, and Mamma Mia.

After completing her studies in musical theatre at NIDA, Sandy returned to Townsville to direct Rent for NQOMT, Les Miserables, Chess, Avenue Q, the award-winning Jekyll & Hyde, Spring Awakening, Legally Blonde, and most recently, Heathers for the Townsville Choral Society. She also Vocally directed Happy Days for TCS and conducted David Campbell’s backing choir for the Townsville show of his ‘Good Lovin’ tour.

Sandy’s contribution to theatre earned her a Townsville City Council Arts, Culture and Entertainment Award (Theatre) in 2007, the Limelight Award in 2013, and the Daphne Pease Trophy in 2014.
