However, nothing could have prepared our cohort for the unforeseen circumstances to come as we approached our senior year. As the second ever set of college captains and student leaders, we weren’t always sure of what to do or what direction to move in. the new school uniforms. I remember trying on the new uniform within my home and feeling an immense wave of pride wash over me. I felt like I could’ve looked in the mirror and called myself a Maggie, but I will admit, it took a little while for me to grow into the term. Because, whilst I could feel the warm embrace of the sisterhood in our school, it was hard to allow myself to shine amongst so many talented individuals. Either way, anyone who knows me well would know that I’d try my hardest either way. I immediately dived head-first into the deep end by getting involved with everything I could grab a hold of. I played netball, I joined the Vinnies group, I did the Chinese speaking competition, and I was on one of the debating teams (for reasons I still don’t understand to this day). Getting involved within the College allowed me to express my individuality and contribute to the school as a whole.

Talking with them, they explained some of their reasons: to meet new friends, to learn more; to have an adventure and to play more sports and be able to swim in swimming pools. The things they have enjoyed most at primary school are: having Ms Sandi teach them twice; learning lots of cool things, how globes work and learning more about Maths, English and Science.
