Ivanhoe Grammarians Lodge
Newsletter No 18. DECEMBER 2015 - JANUARY 2016
Christmas message from the Master of the Lodge â– Brethren of the Ivanhoe Grammarians Lodge, There are many festivals which are celebrated by people with great zeal and enthusiasm. These festivals are not only a source of enjoyment, but also give you a chance to meet and remember your loved ones. These are the occasions when you think about them and make your relations stronger. Often people get together on these occasions and meet their friends and relatives who live far from them. The memories of these occasions celebrated together flourishes in your mind for years, and this keeps your dear ones close to your heart. As Freemasons, we have the extra responsibilities during this time to think outside our normal responsibilities of
being good Men to our loved ones and to give consideration to those whose circumstances in their reality is one of sadness and despair. Gentlemen, with your generosity with our 'toys for tots' and our generous donations of bikes to the underprivileged of our area (and even a 'Christmas miracle' from the Freemasons Foundatiopn!) we have certainly achieved great things as we come into this festive season. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in any part of this project, you have all done amazing things for 'Freemasonry in General' and for this the 'Ivanhoe Grammarians Lodge in particular'. Season's Greetings from your very Proud Master, Wayne Motton
Ivanhoe Grammarians Lodge is affilated with the United Grand Lodge of Antient and Accepted Free Masons of Victoria (Freemasons Victoria). The website - www.freemasonsvic.net.au - includes a comprehensive members’ area, and online shop.
