● Dr Gilles Laur ■ Alexandra Family Medical Centre has resorted to social media to scotch rumours. Jasmine Tobias posted on Facebook: “I believe it's crucial that I clarify a rumour that is going around in the community. We are unsure as to where the rumour has come from. “I would like to confirm that Dr Gilles Laur at Alexandra Family Medical Centre on Grant St is not leaving the community and has every intentions of being part of our community long term. The clinic is also bringing additional GPs to join the team here in the new year and has plans to expand into Eildon. We are very much here to stay.”
