Margaret Abbey to leave M’dindi Shire

■ MURRINDINDI Shire Council Chief Executive Officer Margaret Abbey will be leaving the position late this year. Ms Abbey’s contract expires in June next year, but she will take accurued leave in the meantime.

Ms Abbey will become President of the Administrative Council of the International Bobbin and Needle Lace Guild, based in Zurich. At the Guild’s website, Ms Abbey’s address is listed as Greensborough. The Council will look to appoint a new CEO.
