■ MURRINDINDI Shire Council performs poorly in a number of key indicators in the ‘Know Your Council’ performance level summary overseen by the Victorian State Government. Latest figures were released last week.

The Council’s expenditure level per property assessment is $3231.61, compares to an average of all Victorian municipalities of $2948.33. Workforce turnover, usually an indicator of staff morale, is 16.1 per cent, far ahead of the state average of 11.55 per cent. Unrestricted cash is 8.38 per cent, compared to the Victorian average of 110.72 per cent.
