My trip to South Korea was such an amazing experience! I was able to teach English to Korean University students, as well as learn from them! They introduced me to authentic Korean culture and their way of life. This was a learning experience that I could not have gotten from anywhere else. I would recommend this program to anyone interested in learning about different cultures, as well as learning more about themselves. CYMARA SCHOCK INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY PROGRAM

Medicine Hat College gave me a sense of community that I hadn’t really experienced in an academic setting before. I was surrounded by supportive people that encouraged me to perform and succeed! I have taken this newly acquired knowledge and applied it in the community that I now live. Community, friendship and family is the focus in life, and in my opinion, is what really should be driving this big ol’ planet we live on. DANA MCMAHON JMH & CO SUMMER COMPANY AWARD RECIPIENT

STORIES MHC has had a big impact on my life, I didn’t just get a great education, I also met friends that I will have for life! I have learned so many new and different skills. As a Student Ambassador, I never thought that I would enjoy talking to strangers about the college and giving them tours, but I tried it and I really enjoyed it! The college helps you to get an amazing education but it also helps you grow as a person and gives you the chance to be part of something bigger. I would recommend MHC to everyone! I think it is an amazing college with small class sizes, that allow you to get to know the instructors and to get help when needed. There is also so much to do on campus. Everyone is super friendly and wants to see you succeed and accomplish your goals! TAMARA MEACHIN STUDENT AMBASSADOR 18
I’ve seen both sides of post-secondary, the small college and the large university, and I am glad I did two years at MHC. Going into post-secondary is a huge transition and having small class sizes and good relationships with professors really helped with the process. This would not have happened at a university where class sizes are 300+ and the professor doesn’t even know your name. I think it’s a great place to start your education.
