PHILOSOPHY
Mediodesign was founded in 2002 and is run by Ve n e z u e l a n a rc h i te c t u r e and design partners Juan Pablo Quintero and María Te r e s a L e ó n , w h o t r a i n e d both in Caracas and Barcelona and settled in S p a i n i n 19 9 4 .
Their commitment to excellence, qualit y and technical ef ficiency has led them to exploration in the use of emerging digital fabrication technologies combined with traditional craft production systems.

Juan Pablo Quintero Juan Pablo Quintero made his creations from the ex tensive knowledge of construction techniques and materials leading them to the limit of their capabilities. His designs are heavily influenced by the rationality and functionality of the
Modern Movement, the Scandinavian household f u r n i t u r e f r o m t h e 5 0 ’s , with a touch of surprise, an unexpected and u n p r e d i c t a b l e a i r. His designs are classic and timeless.
