Chokri Omri

Time will serve the image of my being who i am and will be. My name is Chokri Omri. I live in Tunisia, my sweet Homeland, and look forward into bringing in a number of contributions to it in the field of Literature and Translation. Meditations, as my blog (www.chokriamri2008.blogspot.com) will render clear, is a life-long activity which ambitions to work out a specific but then an indispensable dialogue between two literary movements: Classicism and Modernism. The objective sought is to go back to classical texts and approach them from a modern perspective so as to revisit and foster that which is indisputably positive in them and drive it to light.
