Summer is finally here and we have a packed calendar of events and activities to look forward to. The Brook and Central Theatres continue a varied programme of shows, cinema and music and we have some great special events coming up too. With the Dickens Festival, Fuse and River Festival coming to Medway over June and July; as well as a raft of outdoor fun for the whole family, you will be spoilt for choice for activities to enjoy this summer. There’s also plenty on offer to help parents keep the children entertained during the summer holidays with our Heatwave activities across Medway's theatres and libraries. Plus, it's time to book your Castle Concerts tickets - with The Wanted, Status Quo, Castle Proms and the 80s Night all selling fast, there is a party night for everyone, whatever your musical taste. If last year's Olympics have left you feeling energetic, don't forget to sign up to the Medway Mile - this annual event is open to runners and walkers of any ability but if you feel like something more challenging you could take on the newly introduced Medway 10km. Of course these are just a few highlights of what's on offer over the next two months. So I would encourage you to take some time to look through this guide and find out what else there is to enjoy across Medway this summer.
