Pressure Treated Wood The appeal of traditional lumber often fades as quickly as its quality. Without staining, sealing, and frequent maintenance, pressure treated wood can splinter or warp in the first few years, becoming expensive and time-consuming.

TimberTech Capped Wood Composite Capped composite boards are made of plastic and wood fibers and coated with our proprietary protective, durable cap. While most manufacturers neglect the bottom and side grooves, we coat all four sides, offering the charm of wood with added strength that comes from material science.

Standing Up to the Elements Perched on the edge of the Canadian coastline in Nova Scotia's extreme weather, this deck was built to last. Beauty and Strength Designed to be an outdoor room and true extension of the home, this award-winning deck spans more than 1,000 square feet and includes a large dining area, outdoor kitchen, sitting area, and fire pit. It also incorporates the home's natural setting, an ocean view and original stone walls, to showcase the beautiful surroundings and create an open space perfect for outdoor entertaining. The owners selected TimberTech® decking in Pecan with Mocha accents from the Legacy Collection to bring this low-maintenance outdoor space to life. Known for its proven durability and strength, TimberTech resists stains, scratches, mold, and moisture damage and is the perfect choice for Nova Scotia's snow, wind, rain, and sun. The deck is finished and framed with Evolutions Rail® Contemporary in Traditional Walnut. They chose a combination of glass infills and balusters to complement the scenery.
