iPod Gyro Docking Station In this kit, you will assemble a mechanism to play a motion-controlled car racing game on a 3 to 4.5� Android phone or an Apple I-Phone. This is a simple mechanism that holds the device on a tilting plate while a gear mechanism helps the user to tilt the screen by turning a steering wheel. The accelerometer sensor of the device senses the tilts and controls the game accordingly.

How to operate: Download a tilt racing game on your mobile device. Fix the device on the tilting plate and hold it in place using rubber bands that are included in the package. Start the game and control it, using the steering wheel.
Lessons to be learnt: Gear Train:
A combination of two or more gears in which each gear is connected to a frame on independent shaft but rotate due to power from the previous gear through teeth meshing. Such a combination is required either to increase the power of the system or to increase the speed of rotation or in cases where the final driven assembly is distant from the driving unit.
