Sharing inspiring MP experiences How would you define your MPH experience in one word? And why? CHANGING… We are a company that is constantly growing. I have been working for MPHM from the start and we have had continuous changes in a short period of time. New acquisitions, new SOPS, new staff & structures…. How do you motivate your staff? Our staff is the most valuable part of the business. I make them participate in the decisions. They feel part of the team and see that they are necessary to achieve the objectives. I give them responsibilities and make them feel proud when they achieve their goals, by congratulating them and celebrating their successes. Which do you consider the 3 biggest challenges for MPH in Canarias? And why? To consolidate as a brand and continue acquiring new business. To take advantage of the synergy of MP Spain and MPHM in developing business lines. To attract professionals from the sector who can work with us.
Can you share the most inspiring employee success story you have experience in MPH?
In my professional years I have had many positive experiences with employees and I would not like to mention just one because there have been several important ones. THE BURGER @ DESIGN PLUS THE S HOTEL Ingredients 2 pounds freshly ground chuck 1 tablespoon onion powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 12 slices deli-counter American cheese 6 large burger buns, preferably homemade, toasted if desired To garnish ketchup mayonnaise thousand island dressing sliced red onion sliced tomatoes sliced pickles fresh lettuce leaves F&B Turkey

THE BURGER @ DESIGN PLUS THE S‚ HOTEL Instructions In a large bowl, mix ground beef, onion powder, salt and pepper. Do not overmix, or your patties will be tough. Divide into six portions and form patties, without pressing too hard. They should be uniform in thickness. Smooth out any cracks using your fingers. Make these right before you grill them, so they stay at room temperature. Preheat your grill, pan or cast-iron skillet you should then set a high heat and add burger patties. If using a grill, cover with the lid. Cook until the crust that forms on the bottom of the burger releases it from the pan or grate — for about 2 minutes. Gently test, but don't flip it until it gets to this point. When burgers lift up easily, flip, add two slices of cheese to each, close lid if using a grill, and cook on the other side for another 2-3 minutes for medium to medium rare. Remove burgers with a sturdy metal spatula and transfer to a plate. Let it rest for several minutes, then transfer to buns. Garnish as desired and serve immediately. REGARDS AND FUN SENDS GÖKHAN
