Sharing inspiring MP experiences
Greetings form MPHM Hellas Team

Sharing inspiring MP experiences Can you share with us your experience in MP so far? It has been two years since my first day in MPHotels Hellas as a CFO based Athens HQ, which has been a quite challenging and at the same time rewarding journey. Our team was fortunate enough to be involved with the setup of the company in Greece along the way with the takeover of several properties simultaneously. Day by day we were getting more and more familiar with policies and procedures and our main concern has always been since then to be efficient , responsive to business and people´s needs, and above all to work towards a common goal, that of success [and always in line with budget targets]. The experience gained through that process along with a great organization effort opened new prospects and the challenge to take over as well the CFO responsible role for our newly set up business in Croatia and Cyprus, which was gladly accepted.
How would you define your MP experience in one word? And why? Adventurous It is indeed quite an adventure to be involved in such a multinational fast growing Company. To not only entering into new destinations with multiple challenges and communicating with colleagues from all over the globe, but also to stay focus and off the beaten path requires a healthy sense of adventure.

Sharing inspiring MP experiences Which do you consider the biggest challenges for MPH in your region? When asked about biggest challenges facing in MPHotels Hellas today are growing revenue, hiring talented employees and of course increasing profit. Growing revenue Improving customer experience and retention is key to furthering success, this needs talent to excel in services offering, entering new markets, retaining customers with better rates/ terms. Hiring remains a challenge To reach the level of service of our brand, we have to compete for the best talent. Our brand as an employer with a culture that will create unforgettable candidate experience for desirable talent is a challenge for us Increasing profit Last but not least, increasing profit is the ultimate challenge for a CFO. Targets are set, business plans are carefully prepared and the continuous follow up with financial reforecasts are carefully monitored to minimize the potential for shortfalls. Can you share the most inspiring employee success story you have experience in MPH?
Please allow me not to decide to refer to any personal story. I consider the outcome of our Finance’ team effort quite an important success story and this is rewarding not only for myself which I happen to lead the team but I believe for each and every member of it. We all working together in harmony but with standards and procedures and organizing the workload in such a way so to be in line with deadlines and processes is our top priority. Simple, perfect roast turkey used to make. Seasoned with salt and pepper, and basted with turkey stock, the flavors of the turkey really stand out. Stuff with your favorite dressing. Ingredients 1 (18 pound) whole turkey 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste 1 1/2 quarts turkey stock 8 cups prepared stuffing Method 1- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Place rack in the lowest position of the oven. 2- Remove the turkey neck and giblets, rinse the turkey, and pat dry with paper towels. Place the turkey, breast side up, on a rack in the roasting pan. Loosely fill the body cavity with stuffing. Rub the skin with the softened butter, and season with salt and pepper. Position an aluminum foil tent over the turkey. 3- Place turkey in the oven, and pour 2 cups turkey stock into the bottom of the roasting pan. Baste all over every 30 minutes with the juices on the bottom of the pan. Whenever the drippings evaporate, add stock to moisten them, about 1 to 2 cups at a time. Remove aluminum foil after 2 1/2 hours. Roast until a meat thermometer inserted in the meaty part of the thigh reads 165 degrees F (75 degrees C), about 4 hours. 4- Transfer the turkey to a large serving platter, and let it stand for at least 20 to 30 minutes before carving
