a 1,000 sq. foot residence inspired by the form and structure of a glasswing butterfly, the scientific family name of which is nymphalidae. The essence of this insect is translated through interior and exterior materials that show delecate, yet architectural sophistication.

a group project that required inventing a company and a product, and designing a corporate “living office” space to accommodate the client. roy lichtenstein’s pop art served as our concept inspiration for this design. We felt the playful, deliberate, and bold nature of his work perfectly embodied steinworks’ company culture, and represented the essence of their product: a stylus that writes digitally on any surface.
Since our parti drew from Lichtenstein’s playful pop art, I decided to transform our team’s headshots into Lichtenstein-esque cartoons.

a commercial spa inspired by the alhambra. I incorporated the moorish and islamic elements through material selections and architectural details, while keeping a modern feel through fixtures and furnishings. the resulting design was ecclectic, stylish, comfortable, and glamorous. this project required drawing detailed construction documents.
